I used to make paper models of geometric solids :D Things like dodecahedra, and icosohedra. Could be a fun challenge make those out of wire! :D

Cool cube, I used to make little wire men out of old power cables while on the phone at work :)
Have you tried brazing / soldering the cube to get a cleaner look rather than the wire wrapping?
