I love your videos - you explain it so well. I've just made some of the tools you showed us how to make in another video so now it's time to start sculpting. :)
Thanks for the very useful advice. I've never sculpted. but recently I started sculpting and posting on UA-cam. But my children don't like it. They say it's not mine. I'm a little upset. Can you advise whether to continue or not? Thank you..
Hiii this video was so incredibly helpful thank you so much! About how long are the wires you’re twisting to make both halfs of the figure armature? I need to gauge how much I need to measure off, thanks so much!
Having dabbled a bit with ADC, I know what you mean by "the weight of the clay" when dry. It's what's between the armature and the clay that next matters. Like foil and ???
Hi, I'd like to try using clay for miniatures, action figures, etc., I see many people using baking clay but I've seen that there is also air-dried clay. You can use this air-dried one. so you don't have to try your hand at cooking =).? If it can be colored normally with acrylic colors and washes.? Thank you
Really helpful tutorial but one question-so that big metal end to the stand is just inside your sculpture forever? Doesn’t that look wonky? Or do you have to make the sculpture really big to fit around it?
Hi Miriam 😊 yeah it stays inside - but will be completely hidden by clay (except the hole where you connect it to the stand, which you would block out as the very last thing) . Indeed this armature is for quite a large sculpture, but you can get the pipe fittings in many different sizes so you would just need a smaller pipe system for a smaller figure. Hope that answers your question? 😊
Thank you for this very useful tutorial but I need another tutorial about how to remove the armature from the sculpture. If you make a video about that I would be appreciated that thank you in advance.
@@TheArtfollower I think you just unscrew the end piece from the rest of the stand, presumably before you completely finish the sculpt so you can fill in the gaps.

I just recieved wire I ordered. I was just about to look for a tutorial for a tiny armature and then you appear with this new video. Thaaaaaaaanks!!
The algorithm’s “Reading Minds” Update is still in Beta Testing.
My mind started to explode when she stuck those two wires into the cordless drill. WIZARD ! ! !
I've been wanting to get into sculpting for years, your videos have been very helpful, love your content 🤘
Just a few simple ingredients *pulls out a nuclear reactor*
It is a simple ingredient I use it in my food every time
Ha😂😂😂😂😂
I laughed literally when that happened
A caveman could do it.
THANK YOU!!! I found your video about creating the Armature. I did not even know what it was named. The drill twist is so easy .
OMG, the drill tip is so smart! I teach Art and my upper level students are doing this right now. I have tools in class. SO DOING THIS.
Thank you Sofia ! I’m going to start sculpting soon. Please don’t stop your informative videos !

Awesome video, well done👍🏼
great tutorial! I didn't had any access to Knead it! can I still put my armature in the oven if the aluminum foil is in contact with my cable ties?
That's so great. good technique. I also do art like you
tenks for the tips
🤟
Is it ok to use skinny wire and twist it together as a thick frame?
does the wood supports the high temperature of the oven?
THX!!
Thank for showing what you do! I have a question: after you’ve finished sculpting, how do you remove your sculpture from the stand?

Where can you get the diagram of the human skeleton showing the front and side views?
Google -> Hale Cranial Units
Can I use this to add clay and use it in stop motion?
good. subbed.

the armature stays inside the sculpture. Like a skeleton.

@@danperry3116 thanks for the answer but i didn't mean whole armature i mean stant that holds armature...

Hi Sofia I can not open any of these links. Would you fix it please?
at minute 3:08. how to remove that armor support when you have finished your sculpture
You can’t
How much wire did you use roughly? Inches, yards?
but how you bring it of from your frame?
Can this stuff be cooked in a kiln
