  • F-Wave synthetic shingles are a type of roofing material designed to replicate the look of traditional cedar and slate shingles while offering enhanced durability. They are known for their longevity, as they are often backed by impressive warranties, with some models claiming to last a lifetime. F-Wave shingles are resistant to various environmental elements, such as hail, wind, and UV rays, making them a suitable choice for challenging climates. Their interlocking design and lightweight nature make installation easier, and their low maintenance requirements add to their appeal as a roofing option.

I live in the pacific northwest. How does the homeowner deal with moss and mold on the shingles. Also, curious about fading over time?

I do not have much experience with dealing with moss on the F-Wave this shingle is made out of plastic. On the asphalt shingles there is a certain percentage of copper that kills algae and moss and you can add additional copper strips to prevent it from growing.
