TI84CalcWiz will the calculator still function correctly?
Of course. As long as you don't install anything specifically for changing the functionality. If anything ever goes wrong, press the 'reset' button on the back of the calculator.

in case you don't know how to stop the program press delete (del) twice and then clear and then that stop it! :)

First of all, thank you so much! Really good tutorial and worked perfectly on my TI! I dowloaded Mario first, but it occupied too much space and because of it I coudn't run other games. In the end I kept only 5 games that I really enjoy, chess, checkers, minesweeper, tetris and flappy bird! Feels like christmas!

I found a shortcut to play the games. Just press prgm (program) button on calculator, click which game you want to play and then hit enter and you are already in the game. You don’t have to click 2nd, then catalog and so forth etc.
Yes, that is definitely a faster way to do it. However, it only works on the newest operating systems.

TI84CalcWiz I was joking, of course a calculator can't run doom, it just became a joke to ask if certain devices (that obviously can't) run doon, like asking if a toaster runs doom, or a vacuum cleaner
Actually, TI84CalcWiz, the CE definitely has the potential to run Doom, at least a watered-down version of it. There are *read* 3D games out there that run decently so why can't sudo 3D work?
I mean, I guess it could theoretically run it, but the most advanced 3d "game" I have seen for it is this one: www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~pad/frames-ti84ce.html
And while it isn't terrible, I'd imagine that it would get unbearably slow with the extra graphics Doom would probably require...
It does actually. But most calculators can't run it that well. I tried a version on my TI-84 CE-T and it worked kind of. Unfortunately it took so much space up that I couldn't download any other games, so I deleted it.
How to get back to normal calculator tho, like if teacher is walking around and I need to switch back

Unfortunately TI removed ASM in the latest OS and calcs, you'll have to wait until an exploit is available (it should be soon) and then you'll be able to run ASM games.
Thank you so much. The only problem I had is that it said I had to pay to open the "zip file" and extract it. Good thing is, I got an app from the Microsoft store which extracts zip files for free.

How do I go back to normal math? Is there any history on it that my teacher could see I was playing games? Calculator comes in one week, teacher said if he catches us playing games during class we can’t use our calculators for a month (have to do calculations in our heads)

So I have a fix to copy the games to the calculator, copy them to desktop then re copy then paste into the window

Oriam has been fixed! I suggest you try it again, as a bug preventing it from running on certain calculators has been patched.

This means that you do not have enough memory on your calculator. Try deleting a few things that you don't use (or just reset your calculator). Let me know if you need any help.

When I'm dragging the game in it has a red circles crossed out 🚫 instead it it saying +copy like on yours. So it just does nothing when I drag
Make sure you are on the "Calculator Explorer" tab.
If that still doesn't work, Go to "Calculator Explorer" and click the "send to calculator" icon in the top left. Then select the file you want to send to the calculator and click "open". There will be a confirmation to send, click "send". If that doesn't work please reply with information about what calculator your using and from what location the file is (ie google drive, local storage, etc.).

I enjoy helping out people like you, I know I'm not going to be the next pewdiepie so I decided to help people instead.
A few troubleshooting:
1. Make sure that your calculator *is* a CE, CSE's wont work with these programs.
2. Download this program written in BASIC. I assume you've been downloading ASM programs which only have a very limited span of compatibility. This program is designed to work across all TI-84 calculators; if it refuses to send, there is a bigger problem. Download: www.cemetech.net/programs/index.php?mode=file&id=1627
3. Check for driver updates. Search for "Device Manager" then at the bottom (or near the bottom) you will see "Universal Serial Bus controllers" click on the ">" and look for "TI Graphing Calculator" right click and click on "update driver", "search online".
If nothing works, I highly suggest you visit www.cemetech.net and post your question there. Cemetech is full of techies who have solved every problem related to connectivity, and compatibility issues.

Thats odd... You should see a download icon/button in the top right corner that lets you download the entire folder...
If you don't see this, a screenshot could help me understand your problem.
are u still having issues? I had the same problem but i solved it. So what you do is select all the files by doing the boxing thing with your mouse. Then right click on any file and click download. Then it will download the files into file explorer

I just liked to program my own games on the calculator in TI Basic, made all sorts of things like Super Tic Tac Toe, Snake, Minesweeper (god that one was horrible), Flappy Dot, and a couple others. Fun stuff.

Press [2nd]
Press [+] aka [mem]
Scroll down to "Unarchive"
Press [Enter]
now press [prgm] and select a program that has a * by it.
Press [enter]
Now run the program again.
you have to go back to ti connect ce, delete it, get it again, and for location, click ram
Although yes that is a possible way, I believe that just using the Archive /UnArchive commands are simpler and faster ;)

Do you have to go through the process of selecting ASM and then going to click the game, mine seems to work just fine and all I do is hit program and open the game, I don’t put ASM before the game

Both AIMANDFI (Aim and Fire) and BATTLESH (Battleship)
That would be why. Those are games unapproved by the TI84CalcWiz App Store, which means that they are usually of lower quality.
Those games do not require the Asm(, so you can just select them and run them.

There's no "asm" option for me, I clicked "2nd" and then "0", and it shows the other options ("abs(", "and", "angle(' etc) but there's no "asm"
asm isnt supported anymore or something, go to the creater comment and click the link for the video on how to jailbreak it: it worked for me afterwards

I followed all the steps all the way through but when I go to play the game it says:
"ERROR: INVALID

I did use the Asm( command.I think part of the problem was that all 8 of the files to be downloaded somehow got combined into one when I was dragging it from my files to the calculator screen.

Are you using the correct calculator for the game you're trying to play? i.e. Oiram will work on a *CE* but not a *CSE* or any other calculator.
