In November of 2015 I went to Iceland and Alaska. Iceland was truly warm and beautiful, it almost seems magical. In November the days are short, and the sun doesn't appear until 10:00 in the morning, but other than that Iceland is spectacular and you owe it to yourself to go as you will fall in love with this country as well as the people. Iceland does have the tendency to be expensive, but if you're exchanging Canadian for Isk it's not bad, and there are ways to save money. Iceland has an extremely LOW crime rate. Police don't carry guns, and people are not afraid to walk the streets at night. And you don't find the usual security at the airport that you would in Canada and the U.S. I intend on going back in 2018, as it seems to be a world unto itself.
