I always hear that Simple Green is the answer, and I'm always surprised at how much that's true!! What a shockingly good job it (and you) did! Nice work Mitch! If only there were two of you to make the job go by faster, hahah! This was great to see!
Thanks for the info. I recently had a new concrete driveway done and the mason had to go on the 1st part they did a month ago with his rubber track excavator and left ugly marks. I have used simple green for 40 year's and didn’t think of using it on the driveway. Im going to try it today. Thanks
Thank you so much for the information. I had tire marks all over my new driveway. I used the product you suggested exactly as you suggested and it worked great! I can not thank you enough.
Hi Mitch and Philip! WOW what a huge difference that made!! We always use simple green for most everything, but never thought it work for tire marks on the driveway! And we have a few on ours, so I am definitely going to be giving this a try soon!!
Exactly the same thing just happened to my new driveway. Thankfully it’s not illegal here to hose water on the driveway to try this technique. I got the brush with long handle and simple green. Now it’d be nice to find a teenager to do the labor. ✅
Hello Mitch! I’m so happy to see you back! What an impactful difference the product made on the driveway! I will definitely need to pick up some of this cleaner. I’m glad the marks were able to be removed and not permanent. Great job!
Hi Daniel! Always a pleasure to see your avatar come across my screen. Thank you so much for checking out our new video. We hope all is well in your world! --Mitch
Hi Mitch, I would’ve been very upset if that had happened to my new driveway! But it looks like you have solved the problem and it’s all good. Thanks for sharing what worked for you in case we ever need to remove marks ourselves. The driveways where we live are usually sealed. The house looks great! Any idea if and when you’re coming back to UA-cam? We miss you! Take care, Dolores. 🥰
Great to see you Baking Diva! Congratulations on your channel reaching the 8,000 subscriber mark! Woo-hoo! We're very busy getting the new house put together, though we will be sharing content whenever we can. Thank you so much for your continued support!
Hello Mitch and Philip! I was delighted to see your new house! 😁❤️ Great work cleaning the tracks from the concrete. I love using simple green too! The long handled brush is a tremendous idea! 😁👏👏💚
Hi Jennifer! That long handled brush worked great and I did not have to get on my hands and knees which was such a relief! Thank you for watching. We hope all is well at your house!
This is a very nice informative video production. Amazing visual presentation on how to clean the driveway with tarmac properly. Very interesting and exciting to watched too. I really enjoyed watching how you do it. You're absolutely brilliant videographic artist creating such a wonderful contents like this. Bravo! I love it and I like it. Thank you for sharing. All the best to you. I've subscribed to support your lovely channel.
Oh my gosh, your home is just beautiful. I can’t even imagine what you had to spend for it. And also thanks for the great tip about the tire marks. You guys are awesome. You guys always come up with some great ideas. I hope you both had a wonderful Fourth of July this year.
WOW!! It looks like the guy was spinning donuts in your driveway. I’ve heard of simple green, but now I’m going to get me a gallon to keep around just in case. It’s so nice seeing you again, I hope Philip is well and the move was uneventful. Can’t wait until you’re back full time. Regards gentleman, John.
Simple Green is a great product. I’m so happy you were able to remove those marks. Btw, I am surprised that California still has those water restrictions, considering the amount of rainfall you got this year 😮
Hi, this is happening to our brand new concrete too. Question - do the tire marks continue to happen even after you clean it off once? Do you have to clean it regularly? Is there some sort of sealer or something that can be applied to the concrete to make it not reoccur even after cleaning it off?
Tire marks happen from the tires being hot; so as long as hot tires continue to traverse across your driveway this problem will recur. You can use a siloxane sealer and this may help reduce tire marks as well as make them easier to remove; though most sealers usually require reapplication annually. Waiting until tires cool down after long trips can reduce tire marks as well as avoiding sudden stops and quick turns. Hope this helps! Thank you for watching and commenting!
Great to see your avatar come across our screen today. Well, the truth is our new house is a poorly constructed, haphazardly slapped together pile of the cheapest materials the developer could source. If it hadn't recently appraised for $300K less than we paid for it, we would have already moved by now. @SheaHomesnocal does not build quality homes. We should have taken more seriously the numerous reviews that warned us. If we had it to do over again knowing what we know now, we would never do business with this disreputable developer.
A penetrating concrete sealer that contains silane or siloxane may help cut down on tire marks depending on the surface texture of your concrete. Really hot tires after a long drive also leave much worse marks that cooler tires do. Thank you for watching!
Yes, but it wastes a lot of water and takes longer; especially if you don't own one and have to go to a rental store to pick it up and return it. Thank you for watching!
August 22, 2023 I ❤ UA-cam... Every time I need help on something and very difficult to understand how to clean... This is it.. UA-cam people helps me to clean my driveway. Without UA-cam.... what can you say...

If you're allowed, sealing the driveway may help prevent marks in the future. I noticed some homes here in Arizona have that, and it looks nice😊
We've been discussing using a sealer; thank you for the tip. Great to see you!
Do you have any tips for sealers to use?
Thank you Soooo much.
Got my brush, simply green, and my two strong arms.

Yes, but what if your car always makes tire tracks on your white concrete? Is there a solution?
A penetrating concrete sealer that contains silane or siloxane may help cut down on tire marks depending on the surface texture of your concrete. Really hot tires after a long drive also leave much worse marks that cooler tires do. Thank you for watching!
Thank you. Appreciate your advice
Our driveway & now our concrete sidewalk have tire marks 😬. Fingers crossed simple green erases everything!
How does Simple Green compare to the product called “Awesome Degreaser”?
One of our favorite things about Simple Green is that it's totally non-toxic and the "Awesome Degreaser" product is not.
Couldn't you just have used a power/pressure washer?
Yes, but it wastes a lot of water and takes longer; especially if you don't own one and have to go to a rental store to pick it up and return it. Thank you for watching!
