mam, for [Cr(CN)6]-3 , it has d2sp3 hybridization as inner vacant d orbital is available . but can you explain on the behalf of cyanide as strong field ligand, what would be the number of unpaired electron"?
      3 or 1????
i m confused whether to pair or not in this case because of cyanide ligand. In book there is no pairing, but as per influence of strong field ligand there should have been pairing. and n must have been equal to 1( 1 paired and 1 unpaired )
      can u advice me?
