I had the same problem a few minutes ago. It worked for me after holding the needle thread a little while doing what the girl in the video did. I had to do it twice slowly but it worked.

During sewing my thread jams up no matter what tension i have it set at and the top thread gets stuck under in the bobbin area ?

Am I blind? When you hand crank the machine down it looks like the thread magically pops through the hole. How did you do that?

as she moved the needle she attached the blue thread to the pink one, then she just pulled on the blue one and the pink one came out too

Rethread top and bottom
Change needle. Clean machine. If all else fails change thread type. And check your bobbin tension maybe it's too tight ? Or wrong needle for the project your sewing.

There should be a tiny " click" sound when the bobbin case is seated correctly back in its cradle. I always put my bobbin in thred anti clockwise.

You just need enough so it can be pulled through the machine from the top needle thread
