I remember on Sunday evening it was quite sunny. I went to bed that night, and was expecting to wake up in the morning, grumpy and tired for school. But instead, I woke around 2am, to some rumbling, thunder that is! I lied awake for a while just to listen to the storm. After it calmed down, I fell back asleep but then woke at around 6am for more thunder! It persisted until about 9 that morning, when I was already at school.
I knew this thunderstorm was coming, from like 10 pm, I saw thunderstorms pass from Adelaide going in a south-east direction to Melbourne. I was up, waiting and waiting and the thunderstorms were so close, till finely I heard thunder. From than one I came outside at 2 am, recording some of the footage and looking at the amazing display of lightning. Then thunderstorms passed Melbourne again in the morning. Altogether this was one of the most intense thunderstorms I've ever seen.
