I got hooked watching the show and am currently on chapter 103 with I think 168 chapters currently out and it's still so crazy and wonderful!!! I even watch the English version just so I can hear different ways they talk to each other! Like in the scene where momo is telling him he shouldn't close people off because he's not giving them the chance in the manga he says 'skank' in the anime Japanese he says "you're so ugly" and in English he says "bitch' and it's just really fun to see how each version has a different script and makes rewatching it that more fun
There is currently 174 chapters with 174 been released today. I also binged it after anime start releasing, i didn't expect to be so into it but i literally read all of the chapters already! Dandadan somehow is just completely captivated me
In Germany, we actually have two different dubs. I just finished watching the Netflix dub, and now I’m going to watch the other one. It’s so cool-they’re really different, so it almost feels like watching a completely new version of Dandadan!
Been reading this series for over a year now, can’t say how exciting it is for it to finally to be getting its deserved recognition for just how good and fun it is.
I thought the anime was incredible so far, then episode 7 came out... And now it's PHENOMENAL. The Manga has been my favorite thing going for a while, but the way they showed the acro silky arc was even better than the Manga. I don't know if I've ever been that emotionally wrecked by a single episode before. I think the anime is truly something special

Throwing in Hells Paradise as an example of bad modern shounen is kinda crazy cus the manga was excellent. The creator of Dandadan worked on Hells Paradise, and both him and its creator worked on CSM. I really feel like HP’s is severely underrated, esp with its mediocre anime adaptation, and is far from typical shounen too. In fact, I fail to grasp what exactly is different about modern shounen from the old shounen you mentioned. Some modern shounen are/were way more than good vs evil, and many like Undead Unluck, Dandadan, CSM, JJK????, and actually feature women in far bigger roles than the big 3 did. I don’t think things were “better” back then. Just like MHA got messed with due to reader polls, Naruto was also affected too. The good ol’ days don’t really exist.
How the times change. When I was a kid, the “big three” were probably Cyber City Oedo, Urotsukidoji and Akira. 🤣 On a different note, I never understood why Bleach and especially Naruto would form a “big three” with One Piece. OP is so f***ing huge, it swallows these two whole in an instant. I read the first 3 chapters of OP and have no idea how big this could get but it’s very charming and funny and I’m having a good time. I read the first 3 Naruto chapters and am so annoyed by the MC that I wish him an early violent end. But to each their own I guess. That being said, this video is about DanDaDan and I’m a loyal fan since chapter 5. It makes me feel like a kid again. I’m so happy the anime adaption turned out great, even if the manga is still the way to go. Great video! 👍

I’m obsessed with the series. My friends told me that it was hentai and it was weird but it wasn’t. Turbo granny takes okarun’s (you don’t need to know) and cursed him while momo gets captured by aliens and destroys them with her new and evolved spiritual powers.
i think the thing that makes dandadan's randomness work so well is that when you watch it, in the context of what came before it and how people react to it, the weird shit that happens is strange, but it feels like it makes sense. It's only after you try to explain it to someone else and you hear the words "so they contained the evil spirit using a sentient anatomical model that they met after it had escaped the school because it's girlfriend got thrown in the trash" that you realize that the words that just came out of your mouth are utterly bonkers.
