Thank you very much🎉. This is my first ever DIY with anything to do with on a car. Replaced my Q50 struts on the trunk by following your video. The dealer wanted $330+ labor and local Meineke a bit more for doing this work. For a first timer, I got them done under 30min. Go figure why hundreds on this stuff. 😂
Hi, I own a 2021 Toyota Highlander base model without an electric tailgate. However, I’m wondering if you could create a video tutorial for installing an aftermarket electric tailgate on a 2021 Toyota Highlander. That would be incredibly helpful, considering there’s no video specifically for this model on youtube. If you do create such a tutorial, please tag me in the link.
The skit at the end was worth it 🤣 do you ever do promotional work with other UA-camrs on your products? I am planning a rework of my content and would love to chat with you on a collaboration of sorts!
Just wanted to say thank you. I replaced my rear lift things on my 18 year old suv and I am 65 yrs old. Luckily had a 2 x 4 handy. Thanks again
64 year old woman here. Did this myself with these instructions. Definitely easy and the total cost for me was $30. 😊
Thanks dude. I needed to see this. I’m always afraid I’m going to break stuff when doing repairs but watching your video gave me great insight.
This and the hood struts were probably some of the earliest “repairs” I had to make. Super easy stuff…
Very helpful . . . . . . and you got a big smile out of me at the end!
No need to open the new ones, they'll pop right in
yup I was about to say the same thing,
Wow and the mechanic wanted to charge acouple hundred bucks to do this. Thankyou. I love u tube😊
I was stumped trying to tug on the shock to break it loose. Thanks for the screwdriver trick. Worked like a charm. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks good instructions. I recommend putting something to support the weight of the tail gate for safety. 😊👍
Ha! Your ending was hilarious!. Thanks for the info on the piston replacement. I'm ready to do mine now.
Great detail on the fix; and hope your still hitting HR's!
Very helpful…I used a thicker pvc pipe to hold up the trunk. If the new struts heads don’t line up, you have a with a strong grip twist then to align
Great video young man!
Thank you, buddy! You are a life saver! Thank you again and may God bless you!
Thank you for this video! Fixed my van’s problem so quickly. If only all car repairs cost $22. 😂
Super helpful video, thank you!
Thank you!
Your video is very helpfull.
find a bow and make it an arrow...thanks man...good job!
Thanks, that gave me more confidence. Easy job on hyundai iload.
Hey, I know it’s an old video, but how are these struts holding up?
@@zfrocc still strong as ever
Thanks. Very helpful and easy to understand. Now I don’t need to go to the mechanic to fix this issue with my car.
Bored and aftermarket shocks but it's slightly bigger than the original shot and won't reach the port on the door what can I do?
Clever at the end baseball honk but useful yes for my need.
Awesome. My baseball is stuck on the roof now. Thanks a lot!
Thanks Bud. Ima give it a go on a 2001 Tahoe my wife refuses to let go.

Mine has automatic shut and won't let me even hold it up it uses crushing force and shuts any fuse or anything I can pull ?
Thank you so much.
Thank you so much!
Great job
Good job very easy
Thank you! 😊
Are those the same as the hood struts?

you did not need to loosen clip on new struts. It will just fit in if you push
THANK YOU!!!!!!
After i install the new strut i cannot close the hatch, can anyone help me to fix this?
Perfect!
Thanks man
Best part last 40 seconds
what a nuke at the end
Thank you
The flying ball😂😂😂😂
You are cool
Thanks!
Just did in like five minutes on my parents doge caliber lol in freezing cold weather
You do not have to release the clips to install the arms. Nice video though, thank you.
only my car has a stupid system that you have to cut the ends to get out the balls... the new ones are with clips
Misleading ending
You didn’t like that home run?
