The Pedal Uptown has become something of a classic here at 99 Bikes, with thousands sold since we introduced them to our range only a few years ago.
The Pedal Uptown is a vintage style women’s cruiser bike, designed for riding around town in style and comfort. The Uptown is built with a retro steel frame, giving it a classic look. It also has 7 speeds for a good selection of gears, and 700c wheels to cruise around town in comfort.
The Uptown features swept back and slightly rising handlebars to give you a relaxed and upright riding position, that is designed for comfort and ease of handling. A double sided chain guard gives you protection from the chain dropping during your ride, as well as from your clothes getting caught up. Colour matched mudguards help complete the vintage look, as well as protecting you from any dirt and splashes coming up from the road.
Uptown is also available in an upgraded version, the Uptown DLX. The DLX features the same visual styling as the original, but with the major difference of an aluminium frame. The aluminium frame makes the bike lighter and therefore easier to ride, especially up hills. It’s also a great benefit if you’re going to be carrying your bike up and down stairs, or transporting it in the back of your car. The Uptown DLX also features premium saddle and grips, which look great and make for a more comfortable ride.
