Thanks sir for this video, sir I have doubt that, if solute and solvent are of same amount in a solution, then how to determine that which is solute and which is solvent?
Good Question... It is very easy. If a substance A dissolves substance B, it is known as solvent. The substance B is dissolved in substance A; it is a solute. For example, water (50g) dissolve sugar (50g). So, water is a solvent and sugar is a solute. Similarly, petrol (1 litre) dissolve paints (1 litre). So, petrol is a solvent and paints is a solute. I hope you understand it. Thanks! 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you very much you really help me more than what I read on the book And don't think that your accent is bad not gonna lie I fully understand your accent thank you your a lifesaver
Q: What is a solution in chemistry? Ans: In chemistry, a solution is defined as "A homogeneous mixture of two or more substances joined together physically is called a solution. For example, when you add some salt into the water, it completely dissolve in the water to form a homogeneous mixture or uniform composition. This homogeneous mixture of salt and water is known as solution. Q: What is a solute?. Ans: The component of a solution which is present in smaller amount is called solute. For example, when you dissolve sugar in the water to form a solution, sugar is present in smaller amount in the water. So, sugar is a solute. Q: What is a solvent?. Ans: The component of a solution which is present in larger amount is called solvent. For example, in sugar solution, water is present in larger amount. So, water is a solvent.

Sir u r saying the component of solution which is present in smaller quantity is solute .. But sir if we mix 2 liquids in one beaker in same quantity which one is took as solute and which one as solvent
Hi Sir. I just wondering. If solution X is 2% and solution Y is 2%. After mixing, is the concentration of solution Y remains same or it will be change?

Sir u r saying the component of solution which is present in smaller quantity is solute ..
But sir if we mix 2 liquids in one beaker in same quantity which one is took as solute and which one as solvent

Thanku to explain me in this way I can't say this time how I am happy thanku so much
Great 👍👌
Hi Sir. I just wondering. If solution X is 2% and solution Y is 2%. After mixing, is the concentration of solution Y remains same or it will be change?
You can't say it remains the same or changes. As it depends on certain factors like solubility, nature of intermolecular forces, etc...
😊🖐
