- Hi all,
in todays video we're looking at another viofo camera. this time its the A229Plus 3 channel variant.
with the new sony starvis 2 sensor in the 2k front and back camera, the image quality has really improved for both day and night time driving.
Of course its an excellent tool for me to capture content for youtube when off road in the pajero too.
I hope you enjoy the review.

Thinking of you mate, so sorry to hear about your nephew, stay strong
Thanks mando. Appreciate it
Always love your videos and reviews. Sorry to hear about your loss, thinking of you and hope you're doing okay.
Thanks much
Feeling your pain
Be strong buddy
Thanks for sharing 👍😎
Cheers Robbie. It touches everybody and seems on the increase.
Have to say I have been liking the looks of the Viofo cameras from watching your previous installs and your off road videos. Great to see they are using USB C these days too rather than the old Mini USB most cameras seem to use. Talking about batteries, I have had them swell previously in both cheap cameras and GPS units to the point they are starting to split the battery casing. They can explode too which causes major problems, Good to hear Viofo have a way to combat that. That Auto Save is a pain on my cheaper cameras too as it saves heaps even if apparently turned off, Wifes car seems to get heaps of her friend just closing the door. Once again mate sorry about Titan & also very sorry to hear about your nephew. If you feel down mate and need someone to talk with feel free to reach out. I know all about that black dog that haunts us as I've been there too. Viofo, if you want someone to do another review feel free to reach out lol.
Cheers mick, funny for it to take pictures when off. But I know you're into your weird stuff 😉 I'll settle for a day out on the tracks mate. That would be awesome
Thinking of you mate
👍
Nice bit of gear. All the best as well.
cheers Dave, you didn't mess about did ya :)
@@DENMONKEY sitting here bored shirtless.
thank god you have your pants on
Sorry to hear about all that mate! Great clip. Question can you flip the interior camera image to put you back on the correct side of the car? Cheers Steve
Cheers Steve. Yes mate sure can
Looks like a great bit of gear, though not sure I want an interior camera recording me abusing every man and their dog on the road! :)
Sorry to hear about your Nephew mate, I'll never understand what makes a person want to head down that track. All you can do is offer your most precious asset to them, your time and ear to listen.
PS didn't know you were into 3D Printing! What podcast was that?
thats why i would normally turn off the speed on the recorded video. no need to incriminate oneself :) I will have you know I am also very mild mannered. I ne'er speak poorly of my fellow road users :) you're right all you can do is offer. its up to them to take that step
i am but im not very good at it. i have many rabbit holes i look down. unfortunately I just have the time to get as deep as I'd like into many of them . Would have just been a youtube video playing in the back ground, id say they were talking about the new one i got the flsun v400.
@@DENMONKEY nice! I've got a CR10 V5, Saturn 2 resin and a Bambu X1-C. That Bambu is a monster! Prints ASA like an absolute beast.
Simply updating the firmware will resolve the GPS issue.
Brilliant. Thank you
When will we see a ham video ?
So sorry mate 😟
Thanks big b
