@@Goku-zu3rk not being able to ritual summon not machine monsters isnt a downside? no benten summon.. no natasha.. no chaos max.. no amorphactor.. no harald.. no nothing.. (in the same turn that you use NU II ofc)
@hc99_ the only downside is not summoning the benten and natasha. First off...every other ritual you mentioned is played on it's own and not together with each other. It doesn't make sense at all to run them together. There is absolutely no need to play any of the other ones, because they are each a win condition on its own. Second, playing herald is the most degenerate anyway and an insult for modern drytron players.
Been testing for a bit and this may sound crazy, but I've been loving maxing out on Alpha and Nu2 as well as max Nova+Fafnir+Terra+One for One, while leaving all the other names as 1-ofs. Thanks to Ursatron you have 2 paths to the Ritual spell if need be, and any Drytron enthusiast knows Zeta goes from hero to zero past turn 1. Ditto for Benten. She's just a Diviner bridge at this point. IMO you could comfortably play her at 1. As far as the Extra Deck, if you need space, give some thought to losing the Dyna Mondo. Without Benten access, we don't have cheap enough Ritual fodder to plop out to make him easily. I'd strongly consider throwing in an Accesscode, not just to easily kill, but to out nasty floodgates if need be. Without Natasha Borrelsword ain't what he used to be, so his spot could be taken by a Knightmare (or 2, if you want to pivot away from Millenium) so you have plenty of attributes in grave. It helps that the Knightmare's costs are negligible since we play out of GY
Aight a couple considerations I made in testing: For time, the synchro 7 vagnawa the moon eating dragon is often better than Natasha, dealing 1800 burn damage which is notably higher than the 1200 of lacrima. It's especially important if you choose not to run the afd engine, which I don't love because of how bricky it is Also pentestag + draconids can actually steal many games, running over the 3 bodies that flamberge summons back. It's especially powerful if you're also running book of eclipse Great profile, keep up the great work!

I love nu2...but I got smoked by ice dragon prison the other day and was like...hmm that's not supposed to happen...a new weakness has entered the room 😂
Just got the deck myself, still a bit overwhelmed what to do and when to do, but these videos really help me. Also really love the artstyle of Drytrons!
ive never regretted cutting draconids, draconids has won me 1 singular game in my entire lifetime of yugioh (where its effect was the thing that actually won) what I do regret though is natasha. playing without natasha is like driving a car without oil. its possible, but eventually its all going to fall apart.
In the Nu2 build, Draconids becomes essential, since we don't have Natasha to do cleanup duty (which sucks a LOT). That being said, OTK-ing without her is no sweat even now, just a little more sequencing-intensive
Let's go drytron maraton !!! PS : i personaly keeped draconid and i still like him a lot Dad can flowt into him and he can be used to otk going segond.

I use Anima when my opening hand has Zeta and I have access to Nova. I’ll Nova Alpha, then Anima the Alpha. Alpha goes to grave and then I can use its effect and have my alpha zeta combo. Just imagine if NU II didn't have the drawback.. drytron would be... No words
You should use magikey. There is no visible downside

once the combo is complete if my opponent somehow breaks my pretext then on my turn how do I break the ground spell that also limits me?
After extensive testing the NU-2 Lock just isn't it, went back to VV drytron, with chaos max for turn skip
Excelente video bro! Can you explain to me how can you play around a droll or shifter? :(
You always make fucho when they use shifter or droll. If you have instant Fusion, you can negate droll.
Why is Anima essential for your turn 1 combo? Nu 2 your channel and Drytrons but now a big fan of both!
