- A long long time ago in a garage far far away....
Many years later the Locot Seven found its way to The Lab with thee goal of FINALLY making it a running driving car!
There's a lot that was done but there is a lot that needs doing.

Great to see a new project/build
nice solution with the seats, my Dad built Nota Race Cars here in Australia many years ago, I'll send this to him as he still loves all this stuff. Thanks for the watch.
it might be simpler to mount the seats solidly and make the (colapsable ) steering columb and pedals adjustable to adjust to the length of the driver , only thing would be the shift lever
as for trottlebodies : i seen people use the trottlebodies from a big motorcycle on cars
Same engine we fitted to TA22 Celicas back in the day with the side draft solex copies of webers. Went hard, revved for days! Head designed by Yamaha and responded well to some porting and dialing in tweaked cams. Sigh.... was a simpler time!
I looked at a half finished one for sale years ago, the older gentleman had started to bronze braze the joints. Had to leave it with him. Does anyone know the front suspension on this one? Looks factory not fabricated.

Plenty of WAY better setups out there these days but we are just going to run with what it started with for now at least.
