Looks like you also have some hydra in there! You want to be careful with those in a shrimp tank. They can eat the little baby shrimps when they get big enough. And they, like snails, can multiply like crazy!
Yeah seperating them doesn't work [trust me, i have them everywhere now, its so tiring trying], get an assassin! Maybe also if you have enough drop em off at a local fish store for them to feed or sell to pufferfish [mainly pea puffer due to size] owners!!
Definitely have to be aggressive in getting rid of the snails, they absolutely take over! Excited to see the time lapse

It's because she most likely is feeding too much! Both booming = excess food
