I am a designer at adidas and I have been in this business over a decade. I LOVE listening to your post at my desk to keep myself educated and hungry. KEEP IT UP, STAR!!!!
im glad you made this, Its putting what i am doing in perspective. My price point its $30 for a graphic tee and people keep telling me im crazy and that no one will buy at that price point, while they wear a $45 tee
@@philipwapano8496 people were saying my product price was to high but like everyone who told me that would be wearing rip N dip or other hyped up clothing so I just decided to lower the prices of everything by like 10 dollars
@@WBGGaming People will pay a lot for great quality stuff, authenticity, exclusivity, perfectly balanced designs and and perfect fit. Even tough you just started, your shirts just look like a usual supreme Chinese rip off, just another box logo with a brand name, which is boring imo.

I wish I found your videos before. I'm currently going through this process of developing and maintaining a relationship with my manufacturer. I jumped straight to the gun of asking wrong questions. I am doing cut and sew denim. I bought a sewing machine and learned the basics to sewing. I was able to show him the idea I was going for and received exactly what I expected for a sample. However the fabric I chose was a mistake. I'm currently searching for the right denim I want to use and then will focus on patterns for different size jeans. I've sourced all materials other than the right denim. After I find it, hopefully my marketing would create a bit of hype and start to create a look book. It took a lot of asking in the garment district in NYC. I did everything alone, I'm not a fashion student I'm a 19 year old full time college student in business. I am passionate about streetwear and it pushed me to create my own label. It's fun to see my ideas come to life but will be the ultimate test if I can make it a business.
Always appreciate your content. I think it would be good if we got an unscripted video on how to launch your brand through using a website, IG, Twitter, influencers etc
this video offered so much more knowledge and value everything you set is super correct kind of wish this video came out before i started dealing with some manufacturers but I have found a couple good ones and your really put into perspective that building that relationship stems from repeat business not being nice
I would love to see some more Stone Island (I own a lot of pieces, very expensive but worth the buck) You should look into some vintage Stone Island, the Stone Island Supreme stuff is meh, Stone Island on itself has great pieces. It really is the timeless sportswear brand, shadowproject is more the tech vibe/ Japanese vibe
Jayce Piltover yeah I really dig the brand, I should’ve bought some when my streetwear shop had an end of season sale with hoodies and crew necks for under $150
Let me save u some time. Get an EIN number or a tax ID(same thing). Next, the production if you just want a logo that is a phrase it's $8 for vynil and another $10 or less for a shirt(that's a high number i know) so less than $18 per shirt. That's it the cost is less than $18 more so it will be less than $12. BOOM that's it.
@@Zumsa probably cheaper, their are alot of how to do your own screen printing that I've used which are good, if you give me a social media I could send the links
I learnt how to use Shopify in a week. They give you 2 weeks free to play around. It's important to buy your domain asap. You don't want to spend heaps on a brand then have someone else buy your intended domain before you do.

If you buy tees from gildan it can cost you between £3 and £6 then printing it's a £30 starter cost and then £4 from then.
why is the starting cost 30 for printing? i know its mold opening, but could you go into detail?

What if money isn't an issue?
can you talk about setting up a site and clothing lines
If you want to make a website from scratch you need to be able to code a website, or pay someone to do that for you.
im gonna be doing computer science forA levels and probably uni so ima try it out
