(4K) AFW Alliance Airport: VFA-204 Rivet Rattlers Legacy Hornets!

- Aviation video @ Fort Worth Alliance Airport (KAFW/AFW)! Filmed on 4/3/22, this features the US Navy Reserve VFA-204 and their F/A-18C and D "Legacy" Hornets making quite a performance as they arrived to the airfield. Family members of the pilots were present during this event, as two of the pilots had their Fini-flights while they returned to their home base at NAS JRB New Orleans.
Strike Fighter Squadron 204 (VFA-204), also known as the "River Rattlers", is a U.S. Navy Reserve strike fighter squadron flying the F/A-18C/D Hornet. The squadron is based out of Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans and is part of the United States Navy Reserve's Tactical Support Wing. VFA-204 is one of the final operators of the C/D variants in the US Navy (not including the US Marines), and will be retiring them by summer and transition to F-5F/Ns from VFC-13 for the unit to become VFC-204.

Hey Bluerocker, how come the fourth Hornet didn't land with the other three jets? Also, as of right now, this squadron is switching over to F-5s, and being redesignated as VFC-204 "RIVER RATTLERS".
The 4th Hornet (a Super Hornet actually) was already at Alliance when the Rattlers arrived. It had maintenance issues. Thanks for watching!
