Assalam 'o' Alaykum everyone! Hope you're all doing well.
Today I'm sharing with you this Cheese Balls recipe which is perfect to serve as snack. Your kids will definitely love these!
My first time making these didn't really turned out how I wanted them to be. Don't get me wrong they tasted amazing the only problem was that the balls didn't hold up their shape. Once it was time of frying the balls will always crack open! Not really a fun experience!
So, I thought maybe the cause of the problem was the boiled potato being not yet completely cool. Which then caused them to break while frying!
So, I tried making this another time! I didn't give up there!
The second time I tried making these again I made sure I added cornflour to the potato mixture and freeze them in the freezer for at least 1 hour before frying.
Luckily this time they didn't break! YAY! Success!
They were amazing and my sister ate the most of them! .

wash and clean fresh coriander then dry it nicely with a paper towel. Cut it into small pieces with a pair of scissors and then freeze it. :)

Wash potatoes with cold water so it cools down before you peel :)
Also, boiling in a pressure cooker is fast.

Putting /cutting the cheese on the pack is not hygienic as in the shop its manipulated exposed and with other products. Unless the plastic was washed before.

Hi, I made they today for iftari they came out absolutely amazing mashallah ❤️ But to be honest I didn’t have the hour spare to freeze them before cooking them they still came out brilliant. I also mixed cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese for the extra cheesyness 😂😂 because who don’t like extra cheese? Lol. Thankyou very much for sharing this yummy recipe ❤️
I didnt have to freeze them either just left them in the fridge till frying time ! I will add mozzarella next time to they were amazing !!!

2 things I would suggest are:
1. Beat a egg and add it to the cornflower and mixed flour mix.
2. If your cooking them fresh without freezing them don’t deep fry them for to long as they only need cooking till they are a golden brown texture on the outside.

Tried these today and all fell apart in the frying process...not as easy to make.

I tried this. They all fell apart. I would recommend brushing egg paste over the potato before coating it with breadcrumbs. Would prevent it from breaking apart

If I were too make these I would add rice, cheese blend,corn, garlic powder salt & pepper and red flakes, and follow the steps and deep fry them too

Just made these yesterday for iftaari! SO good~~ so cheesy! Next time instead of cheese I'll use a cube of paneer in each ball!

Instead of boiling whole potatoes for a long time, you can just peel & slice them into small cubes & then boil them for 5-10 minutes.. saves time & energy.

I’m pretty sure when u boil the potatoes without the skin then it will just flavor the water but when u keep the skin and then boil then peel the potatoes will keep their flavor
The potatoes prevent from getting excess water into the mixture and gives a sandy texture which is necessary for these recipes.

Not that I think that I am better than anyone, but what I do is, I start off with Yukon gold potatoes. In my opinion, for my own personal taste, they are much better tasting. Then what I do is after scrubbing each, and every one of the potatoes, what I do is I score them all the way around the potato twice.(Once all the way around the shorter end), then (once all the way around the oval end; and that's it. After the potatoes are through cooking, what I do is, I take them out one by one and place them into an ice cold ice bath full of ice. After a few seconds of being submerged in ice cold water, the potato peels just slide right off leaving you a beautiful, very smooth in texture potato without any waste whatsoever. Other than that, this recipe on this channel is very good.
