Thank you so much for your continued support all these years. I'm also so grateful for your part in making 2024 a fantastic year. While I’m looking forward to this year and already have much of it planned, I wanted to begin by thanking you… Sammie says thank you as well. I have an awesome one planned for next week - see you then (8 am EST on Saturday as usual). Have a great weekend and year!
Thank you for sharing your world. I wish you , your loved ones and your loved creatures of nature good health, lots of blessings and joys in 2025 and years beyond.
i will always prefer a less frequent upload schedule in favor of a creator's health and ability to create things they are proud of. I think you're doing great and will watch whatever your schedule is.
Definitive guide to clean up crew. It would be great to see some stuff on what critters you chose for different roles and why, for both aquariums and terrariums. Loved your videos and builds from last year. Best wishes for the new year.
I like this as well. As someone who has a ball python and jumping spiders, and wants to give them naturalistic enclosures, it’s hard to find info on certain things and I’ve found this is one of the topics that’s rarely talked about/dove into.
Definitive Guide: Of growing moss and taking care of moss I've been watching you for a long time, Serpa, and your videos, your voice, and style. Everything about you is unique, Serpa. Happy 2025, and here goes to more amazing content A name for the tomato frog could be Margarita or Marinara
He actually does have a video on propagating moss already: ua-cam.com/video/CleZGsQGIOI/v-deo.html&pp=ygUQc2VycGFkZXNpZ24gbW9zcw%3D%3D 7 years old but still just as relevant, I followed this to start my first moss bins and they've worked out great
Oh the allergies make perfect sense! Roaches, krill, beetles (including larva) all have the same allergen if you have a shellfish allergy. What a bummer - I'm glad you have been taking precautions with it though
Definitive guide: light (both terrariums and aquariums). It seems to be something that scapers take for granted, but having someone with experience like you to explain what's best for positioning, direct or indirect lighting and their side effects would be great. By the way, keep up with your work, I'm following you since 2019 I think and I've always been pleased by watching your scapes. Happy 2025!
As a lighting nerd, I agree there's not enough out there on it. As an electrician I have some experience and it allows me to experiment quite a bit. It would have been nice to have someone save me some of the time 😂
Not to sound silly, but when I saw the title and thumbnail pop up in my feed this morning, I burst into tears. I lost my house a few days ago in the still-raging LA fires. Among the losses were my two fish tanks--I mourn my darling betta, little rasboras, and the countless neocardinia shrimp I'd watch swim and climb along all those thriving plants. It's going to be a long time before I have the sort of stability that will allow me to rejoin the aquascaping community, but it's good to know that the work of creators like Tanner will always be here for me to lean on when I'm able to start anew.
If you’re ever feeling overwhelmed and need a lower effort video idea for a week, I think a lot of us would be happy with a time lapse of Samson just living his life~ This year was amazing and watching your videos is always soothing for me, ironically when I can’t sleep! Keep up the amazing work!
It's surreal seeing your favorite channel grow so much! From under 100k to nearing 2m, it's been amazing to watch the progression. Here's to many more!
I'll bet real moolah that if you're not allergic to crickets yet, you will be in the near future. Folks with shellfish allergies are prone to cricket allergies, and it sounds like your immune system is just adding arthropod after arthropod to the list. That heckin' sucks, but I'm glad the mask is working for the time being (probably add safety glasses to the PPE loadout). makes me glad that my immune system has not yet added arthropods to my own allergy list. ...knock on wood. speaking of wood; your hardscapes continue to inspire me and my friends to experiment more with our own setups, and teaching us little tricks to use multiple pieces to simulate one big chunk of wood. Also thank you for all the froggy videos; I love 'em, but am on an amphibian break for a while, so it's really nice to enjoy yours vicariously
Definitive Guide on Quarantining plants and small animals! What to look out for as far as molds, destructive fungi, parasites etc and how long to quarantine different stuff. This is one of the big holes in my tank hobby knowledge and it's so important for good husbandry and to be a good steward of whatever creatures Id like to have going forward. It's probably not a video that would do big numbers but I think the potential impact it could have on the collective knowledge base of people who learn from this channel is significant
(I don't have any tank critters rn so please don't think I'm doing anything without a proper quarantine process, I just want to someday and this is my favorite channel for learning)
serpa, youre an animal that you need to take care of too! ive never felt lacking from a video every two weeks instead of one, and it makes me happy to know youre taking care of yourself too!
So sorry to hear about all of your allergies to the food you feed! I had a similar eureka moment when I also had my eyes swelling closed and my throat constricting when I fed my betta bloodworms. One thing I would recommend (you may already have this) is a HEPA filter air cleaner unit. Having them has really helped my allergies. Love your channel and love Sampson for sure! Thanks for the love, Sammy! I have always wanted to have a small pond and waterfall in my yard, and have really enjoyed the videos where you have made your ponds and the ones for your parents. Getting older, and not sure I will be able to manage a pond, so I’m looking forward to the upcoming video and maybe finally feeling like I have the knowledge and ability to support a small one to contribute to my local ecosystem. Thanks for all you do, Tanner!! I’m glad that you are slowing down on the videos and getting more sleep. Your health is WAY more important than the health of your channel. Your fan base loves you, your videos are inspiring, and cutting back is not going to change that. it’s unfortunately way too easy to get sucked into counting views and the like. None of us want to see you go through another burnout. Keep the passion and try to lessen the worry! ❤
14:10 if you're allergic to shellfish, you're also allergic to all insects! the thing most people are allergic to with shellfish is the proteins that make up their exoskeleton, which is shared amongst most invertebrates since shellfish and insects are closely related. That's why if you're allergic to shellfish it's recommended you don't eat edible insects/cricket flour/etc. I can only imagine how inconvenient that is when you're regularly working with invertebrates though - It was annoying enough for me when trying to do up-close art studies of insects or even just feeding my cats, since their food had trace amounts of shellfish in it before we switched it out >.< Lovely to hear about all these updates though and delightful to see Samson! Your videos are so nice and chill and each enclosure is absolutely beautiful - its really nice seeing so much attention and care taken for each of the animals' needs.
Hi, thanks for the info. I didnt know fish and insect exoskeletons are related. Makes sense. How is flour [wheat] related? Is it because some insects get caught in the harvester?
@@perfum999 it's cricket flour specifically, which is a wheat flour alternative made from crickets! there are guidelines for how much % of insect parts is allowed to remain in grain crops and products (like in cereal) though so I wouldn't be surprised about minor cross-reactivity there depending on brands and how much individual companies regulate that. i believe the FDA allotted amount is surprisingly high.
No matter how much or how little you upload, I will always look forward to seeing your work. I always feel better after watching. Take care of yourself first, we will wait!
Definitive guide on filtration would be cool! I am not very familiar with sumps and canister filters compared to other types, and I feel like you would explain this topic very well.
This!!!! I had a friend recently try to do a paludarium but they didn't know that you need to boil some stuff and their whole scape was taken over by parasitic worms.
I think the stink bug video might be my favorite thing you created this year! I really think it showcases your empathy and creativity and opened my eyes to a whole new way I can live alongside these invaders.
So glad you're getting good sleep now. I also saw dramatic sleep improvement in 2024 and every time someone asked "how are you" I pretty much exploded with an enthusiastic "SO GOOD, DO YOU KNOW HOW GREAT IT IS TO SLEEP MORE THAN AN HOUR AT A TIME, I AM AN ENTIRELY NEW PERSON" 🤣 May it continue!!
Definitive Guide to collecting materials would be awesome! Knowing what to look for when collecting hardscape in the wild/how to identify safe woods. Maybe also the curing process and what to watch out for when flooding the tank for the first time. There’s a lot of info on this out there but I’d love to see one in your current style! Peace and love to Samson! ❤ Edit: Maybe name the Tomato Frog after a morph of tomato. Beefsteak or Roma?
So glad you chose your health this year it’s really important! Happy to hear you’re sleeping well and feel human again! If it were me I would name the tomato frog Valentina after one of my fave hot sauces. Can’t wait to see what you come out with this year!
Definitive guide to your first aquarium! I've always wanted to keep fish, but have been so intimidated as to where to begin, especially since my space is quite limited in my tiny old apartment. I really respect the love you have for your animals and trust your advice!
I want to add on too maybe a definitive guide to identifying healthy animals and what to look for in a responsible aquarium/frog/reptile dealers and/or rescues.
I'd really appreciate a Definitive Guide to Life Plant Safety in regards to different reptiles/amphibians and their behavior. I find there to be a lot of conflicting information, and a comprehensive overview from someone with a lot of experience and perspective would have definitely eased my mind when I made my first bioactive vivariums
definitive guide: about making aquariums, i know you have a guide already, im mainly talking about the type if braces that can be used to strengthen the tank, and how big an aquarium can be made with what thickness of glass. Another could be about patio ponds and the filtration/heating of them (i wanna make one but cant do big enough for goldfish, weather is cold here). Anyway hope you, your wife and all your pets have a wonderful 2025 ahead of you.😊
Your superworm allergy story reminded me of something that happened to me a couple months ago... I have a "stonefruit" allergy, basically anything like an apple, pear, nectarine, peach, cherry, plum, etc. in a raw form makes my throat scratchy and makes me feel like meh for a few hours. Cooked is fine, and I love me some apple juice and apple pie. I was trimming a cherry tree this fall, and have been getting into basic woodworking, so I saved a few thick pieces I had pruned, and was sanding it on my front porch for a while one day. Went to sleep, woke up the next day and I was itching all over and my eyes were burning. I never figured the cherry allergy would carry over to green wood sawdust. Lessons learned.
Take care of your health and the animals first. We love your videos and they are well worth any wait. Peppermint tea for your allergy relief. And yes, I noticed my sinuses act up when I feed certain fish and shrimp food. Gloves and mask required. Lots of love. Be well.
As a new member of Serpa Squad, I want to thank you for opening my eyes to a world of possibilities in art. I came here for information on how to use house plants in aquariums, but what really blew my mind was how you create art using water, plants, and other natural materials. I've watched a LOT of your videos over the past couple of months, and you've inspired me so much. I've already created three small terrariums in jars, using cuttings from my house plants and rocks I've collected, and I'm planning to make more and bigger. I'm an artist who specializes in ceramics and sculptural work, but I've always felt like I was missing something, a true spark that would take my work to the next level. I've loved water and nature all my life, especially running water, and I wanted to incorporate that element into my sculptures but didn't know how. Seeing how you build your artwork with waterfalls and ponds made me realize it's not out of my reach. That makes me so happy. I've been dealing with depression on and off all my life, and having this inspiration and newfound drive to create is something I cherish. Your kindness towards all living beings reminds me that there is still good in this world. I hope you, your wife and all your animals have a great year 2025!
i have watched and re-watched every video of yours from last year (some of them many, many times) and every time i appreciate your work so much and love the results. by far my favourite are builds that resemble nature because i can only assume that that is best for them. thank you for creating such beautiful builds inside and outside and i cannot wait to see more!! But please keep your health and peace in mind - i will wait for videos no matter how long you take. there is only one you and without your health you have nothing, so keeping healthy is super important
Definitive guide: Hey Tanner! I’m a huge fan and have been following your work for a couple years now. I’m a scuba diver and I love oceans and streams. One of my favorite underwater memories was in a creek where rainbow trout swam around rock stacks I had meticulously created. It was all so zen and it would be awesome to see you recreate this in a build obviously not with rainbow trout but something smaller. There was leaf litter scattered along the sandy bottom and large boulders that stood to hold my rock stacks. I could see you getting fancy with sticks and or fallen logs in the water as well! Hope you read this, keep up the awesome work!!!
I started watching your videos in 2019. this channel has seen me through a two year relationship and breakup, my parents' divorce, a global pandemic, and all of college. its been a joy to watch you improve not only your scaping but your videography and editing skills as well! long live the serpasquad.
Super excited to see what you come up with this year! But please take care of yourself! So many of your videos showcase how important it is to take care of the creatures in your care, and I think that many of your viewers want you to take care of yourself too!
We have been blessed by Sampson! Thank you for a great 2024! It felt like I could really relax whenever I watched you’re videos and I know it will be the same moving forwards! And it’s ok to take your time your health and well-being is more vital to this channel than anything!
Tanner! Thanks to you and your videos I got through some tough times! And because I was able to push through I will be starting my dream career! Thank you for your videos they really have changed my life more than you can imagine!!!! Thank you!❤
Thank you for all your hard work to keep us entertained Tanner, hopefully the allergies end there and you don't suddenly become allergic to plants, fish, or amphibians!
Definitive Guide: an updated list of online stores that sell quality plants and materials so we can make our own setups within a reasonable price point. Also, I always enjoy the updates on your existing terrariums and would love to see more of them
I've been watching you for years and haven't missed a single video. You're definitely my favorite channel that I'm subscribed to. Keep up the good work. It's always fun watching what you do.
I’ve been following you since the days in your parent’s basement. Being able to watch as you continuously work improve your craft has been something I thoroughly enjoying. I appreciate you taking time to share your joy and enthusiasm with us. Taking time for yourself should definitely be a priority over posting on a specific schedule. Take your time Tanner. We’ll all still be here, patiently waiting to see what fantastic creations you’ve come up with. What you do is truly an incredible art form that I love to see. Thank you !
I'm glad to hear you are taking care of your sleep and prioritize health over uploads! We are always happy to see your face no matter how frequent you upload. My boyfriend and I like to watch your videos together and it is always so cozy! We are excited to see what this year brings and tell Sammy we send luck back to him!
So, this might be a stretch, but I think you should name your tomato frog Beefsteak. Beef for short! It would be the perfect name for such a chunky little frog, but there's also a dragon frog in World of Warcraft that you have to escort, and its name was Beef, and you could pet him.
Definitive guide to researching for a new project/species. Covering how you decide on material types to use for replicating different natural habitats, what species/habitat research you do that helps with design and layout, useful tips to keep in mind, etc.
Thanks for all of your Videos that came and are still to come! I have been watching every single one of them for over four and a half years and they really helped me out when life was difficult!
Thank you @TannerSerpa for sharing your work with us. Also for taking time to speak with subs/fans in person. It really meant a lot to me, those few minutes we spoke at Dallas Aquashella in May. I was also lucky to be in the audience for your talk and the rock paper scissors 😊 it was so much fun. Even though we all went home sick. 😂 You are a great artist and I have learned so much from you. Wishing you a great 2025.🎉 Can't wait to see what you accomplish ❤
I'm excited for 2025 Tanner! A few years ago I was really inspired by you and a few other channels to build my enclosures and go bioactive. I tried and tried but I just couldn't get it dialed in. So I went semi-bio. Part of the reason for the failures was amount of enclosures vs. amount of time to properly get them to set up and thrive. It's been a few years since then and now because of age, I've lost some of those animals. This year, I'm committed to slowly doing it right one enclosure at a time. My goal is to get some of what I have to breed not for money's sake but for captive breeding sake. I'm going to do it right this time. Thank you for showing us the ups the downs and everything in between
Watching because Samson told me to. Stayed because I thoroughly enjoy the cinematic experience that each video embodies. I will always admire your due diligence, dedication, and hyper-focused skill. It is glorious to watch, and I will eagerly await the next video as always. The aesthetic of the entire room is a vibe I cannot describe, but it takes my breath away. Even the work-room/bench that you're sitting at. The colors and organization absolutely tickle my brain. Each of the setups are worlds within a world, and you capture it with elegance. Thank you for sharing! Give Samson a snack for us! He did great too!
You popped up on my UA-cam feed over 7 years ago and I've been watching ever since! Thank you for putting so much dedication into sharing your art, and thanks to Samson for the good wishes. I second the folks saying Beefsteak or Ketchup for the tomato frog.
It is absolutely mind blowing to me how kind hearted and dedicated you are at doing what you love most. The world could really use more people like you. I can also not thank you enough because every time I see you upload anything I know that for the duration of the video my mind will be put at ease and all I need to do is focus on magic taking form right in front of my eyes. Thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication and always remember to take care of yourself and those around you!
So glad you prioritised your health over the youtube grind. I’m a new subscriber as of last year and am loving the uploads whenever they come. Been binging your old videos too. Thank for all your hard work!!
I love your channel, it is a big inspiration to me. Samsom and you has made my life better in the days when I'm too sick to do more than watch videos, and I can only say that I prefer to see less updates, but seeing you healthy and happy for many more years.
I love all of your videos, but the Pond series was utterly captivating! All the external stories just added to the brilliance! Deer, birds, butterflies, bugs, and bees. I've also used your tutorials to make a waterfall scape in a huge fish bowl with shrimp and snails and lots of moss! I watch it way more than the TV! Thank you for all your hard work ❤
It doesn't matter how often you upload, I'll always watch all your videos. Stay healthy and don't burn yourself out. I think I speak for everyone when I say we want you to keep doing this for a long time.
I love the way you explain things to make them accessible for all while at the same time inspiring us to get better at our own projects. You (and Sampson) are the best!
Tanner you are so impressive with everything you do, you are so highly respected in so many different keeper hobbies. I mean you are the OG of bioactive enclosure builds lol. I really appreciate that you remembered to take care if yourself. I know its hard to break routine and habits but it's obvious how much better you feel. I still get excited for new videos and maybe even more so now that they are spread out a bit. So congrats on taking care of yourself and your animals, and us! I hope things continue to go in your favor!
Never clicked on a video faster!! Thank you for all of your content this year and before! I've been trying to create my own naturalistic vivariums from watching yours, including a smaller vampire crab setup that I was able to take to my office. My coworkers were fascinated with it, thank you for giving me that inspiration!
A definitive guide on how to source buy and reuse materials. I LOVE your videos tanner thank you for existing i hope to get a chance to meet you and thank you one day. You helped me reconnect with my draw to nature and I've done so many builds inspired by you. Here's to improving in 2025!!
Definitive guide to finding the right plants at your local store. Love the videos and I find myself looking forward to your uploads! Looking forward to even greater projects in 2025! Happy New Year!
It's so good to see you looking healthy and well rested! You take such good care to provide all your creatures with good environments to live live healthy and happy lives, so it is only right that you should also take whatever measures to ensure that you can as well. L'Chaim!
I was thinking you looked a lot better in this video, glad you're getting more sleep. Take care of yourself! I hope to keep watching your videos for years to come!
I genuinely think the longer, more in depth videos are so nice, and I think my favorite last year was the pond saga. It’s nice to take a break from these environments that are so carefully curated and see what goes on outside. It’s such a treat to get such a good look at wild animals- for the frogs and the bugs I don’t know how you did that! I hope in 2025 you’ll be less pressured to put out things on a weekly schedule again, or at the very least, not afraid to get creative in ways that aren’t as labor intensive (like the wildlife/pond videos). It’s really just occurring to me that I think we appreciate things in a similar way- going outside and staying in one place just to look closely at the fauna and watch them as they do their thing? That’s exactly what I’d do too!
I have been here for awhile, and I genuinely am so thrilled with seeing how much this channel and your art has grown and evolved. I would love to see a constant stream of new content every week, if not every day, from you and your amazing zoo, but that isn't obtainable by even the most well funded and most sleep deprived channels. In all seriousness though, I look forward to Saturday mornings to see the notification you have uploaded. You are an inspiration, and hopefully, a guide once I get stable enough to start doing my own scaping. Be blessed my friend.
Your approach towards building beautiful Nature habitats is so inspiring and every week I wait for the video. You were/are one of the main reasons I started with building paludarium(s)! Thank you for sharing and keep up the outstanding work! All the best from Zurich/Switzerland!
I really enjoy what you are creating, that being said you’re health should be number one, please take care of yourself so that we can enjoy what you are creating, whether every weak or 2 weeks I am looking forward to it
Sleep is underrated! It is so important for all aspects of physical and mental health! The older one gets, the less it's possible to get away with an irregular sleep schedule and/or too little sleep, so I'm really glad you prioritized it over grinding out content.
Thank you so much! I had a realy hard time in 2021 and 2022. Your videos helped my getting throw this time. Because of you, i am now a proud owner of a terrarium and a aquarium wich are both running great. Its a every day enjoument! Tanks again, Tanner. Ceep on doing what you doing. Much Love from Germany.
I’ve been a fan for many years now and have always loved all your videos. You’ve taught me so much and inspired my love of terrariums. I also share your content whenever anyone has questions about terrariums and builds. I’d like to see you redo a really early project. Either something you never felt met your expectations, or something you think you can do better/cheaper/easier after all your years of experience. I think it’d make a great video to compare the two projects and explain why you now do things in a certain way. And no matter what you do, I’ll be here watching (unless it has to do with spiders! I have to sit those ones out 😱)
I've been watching you for a few years now. I look forward to your videos every week. Absolutely Love them. All of them! Indoor, outdoor, animal, plants, maintenance, catch-up, any and all of them. I would love to know more of the reference books you would suggest. Keep up the fantastic work. Love from the mossy PNW.
Is it ok that I rewatch your playlists while fall asleep? Bad PTSD and your voice and content are soothing to me. With your inspiration I found a ten gallon I'm cleaning and resealing per your direction. Not sure what I'll do with it yet, but know this.. You Help People in ways you don't even fully realize. Take care, big fan
Im glad i could've been part of this journey and cant wait to see what you have planned😅
Cant believe im 1st either xd
Oof guess i wasnt..
Samwich
Thank YOU! I hope you and your beautiful animals will have a wonderful 2025
Thank you for sharing your world. I wish you , your loved ones and your loved creatures of nature good health, lots of blessings and joys in 2025 and years beyond.
Thank you for everything! Can't wait to see your new projects next year but dont rush to post videos, we will take whatever you can do anytime ❤
Saw Samson in the title, clicked instantaneously...
Ikr
I was like, NO THOUGHT. CLICK
I saw Serpa had a new upload, that's always enough to click ❤
Sammy is def a superstar!! I hope he doesn’t let it go to his head! 😂
Same! Samson and Big Tony are instant clicks for me~
My African bullfrog, Reggie, would like to thank Sampson for all his tutorials. It’s bc of him, my guy has a cool tank!
Our Pixie "Tugboat" as well!! 100%
Same for our guy, Belcher! Though struggling to find a good way to set up a water filter.
i will always prefer a less frequent upload schedule in favor of a creator's health and ability to create things they are proud of. I think you're doing great and will watch whatever your schedule is.
Definitive guide to clean up crew. It would be great to see some stuff on what critters you chose for different roles and why, for both aquariums and terrariums. Loved your videos and builds from last year. Best wishes for the new year.
I would love to see that
Yes! Agreed! Especially when it comes to space because I would never want to put isopods into a tank too small for them!
Oh!! Yes!!
I like this as well. As someone who has a ball python and jumping spiders, and wants to give them naturalistic enclosures, it’s hard to find info on certain things and I’ve found this is one of the topics that’s rarely talked about/dove into.
Definitive Guide: Of growing moss and taking care of moss
I've been watching you for a long time, Serpa, and your videos, your voice, and style. Everything about you is unique, Serpa. Happy 2025, and here goes to more amazing content
A name for the tomato frog could be Margarita or Marinara
He actually does have a video on propagating moss already: ua-cam.com/video/CleZGsQGIOI/v-deo.html&pp=ygUQc2VycGFkZXNpZ24gbW9zcw%3D%3D
7 years old but still just as relevant, I followed this to start my first moss bins and they've worked out great
honestly, so glad you chose your health over the grind! It's really important
Oh the allergies make perfect sense! Roaches, krill, beetles (including larva) all have the same allergen if you have a shellfish allergy. What a bummer - I'm glad you have been taking precautions with it though
I mean I know it’s a meme now but, taxonomically, shrimps is bugs. Sort of at least.
Could be worth seeing an allergy specialist to make sure that your immune system is healthy overall.
do isopods also have the same allergen? I have a shellfish allergy and keep them 😳 I'm also curious what the allergen is called
Happy 2025!
Light, yes please, I agree! How strong, vs how far away, vs whether there's a lid, etc...
I was going to say the same subject 😊
Light would be great!
I would love more information about this too.
So sorry for your loss. Wishing you strength, comfort in treasured memories, and faith in a brighter future. Sending you warm wishes.
i’m so sorry for your loss, virtual hugging you from the other side of the globe (poland)
So sorry to hear of your losses. Sending prayers for your strength and a brighter future.
Im so sorry for your loss 😢
❤️❤️❤️❤️ sending you strength
I’m a simple man. I see Samson, I click. Scratch that - I see Serpa Uploading, I click.
If you’re ever feeling overwhelmed and need a lower effort video idea for a week, I think a lot of us would be happy with a time lapse of Samson just living his life~
This year was amazing and watching your videos is always soothing for me, ironically when I can’t sleep!
Keep up the amazing work!
Such a great idea! A day in the life of Samson
An hour upload of one of the tanks just have as a background video.
Well tell Samson that we love him too!

(I don't have any tank critters rn so please don't think I'm doing anything without a proper quarantine process, I just want to someday and this is my favorite channel for learning)
JESUS CHRIST LOVES YOU!!!
glad you're taking care of yourself, i want to be waking up in 20 years excited for your next project
serpa, youre an animal that you need to take care of too! ive never felt lacking from a video every two weeks instead of one, and it makes me happy to know youre taking care of yourself too!
The pond series was absolutely one of my favorite things on youtube last year. And I am always here for Samson content.
I can only imagine how inconvenient that is when you're regularly working with invertebrates though - It was annoying enough for me when trying to do up-close art studies of insects or even just feeding my cats, since their food had trace amounts of shellfish in it before we switched it out >.<
Lovely to hear about all these updates though and delightful to see Samson!
I am just now learning this as someone who's studying to be an entomologist with a shellfish allergy :')
@@PrincessPonies81 Wow, never knew that. Learn something new every day. Thanks.
No matter how much or how little you upload, I will always look forward to seeing your work. I always feel better after watching. Take care of yourself first, we will wait!
I think you should name the tomato frog Heinz! ❤️ Love your videos. So so excited for what you release this year!
I'm team Heinz
I love the name Heinz for the tomato frog
Family and health comes first - Always - take care Tanner!
Thank you for sharing about your allergies. You never know who it might help! 😊
Definitive guide on filtration would be cool! I am not very familiar with sumps and canister filters compared to other types, and I feel like you would explain this topic very well.
Definitive guide to gathering and properly preparing additional habitat materials! - things like leaf litter, substrate, what kinds of spray foam, etc
Edit: Maybe name the Tomato Frog after a morph of tomato.
This could be a whole series of videos to keep things fresh with example builds for illustration and creative fixes.
Oh this is a great idea! Seconding
definitive guide: about making aquariums, i know you have a guide already, im mainly talking about the type if braces that can be used to strengthen the tank, and how big an aquarium can be made with what thickness of glass. Another could be about patio ponds and the filtration/heating of them (i wanna make one but cant do big enough for goldfish, weather is cold here).
Anyway hope you, your wife and all your pets have a wonderful 2025 ahead of you.😊
So glad you are prioritizing sleep! That’s always such a difference maker and definitely a goal of mine in 2024.
I'd love to see a terrarium/vivarium using fossils. I think it would be fun to have the inhabitants with their ancient ancestors!
Definitive guide:
Hey Tanner!
Thank you!❤
My day just got 100 times better. Because Serpa Design uploaded!!!
Thank you !
Thank you Tanner -- and Sammy!! What a good year 2024 was, and hopefully what a great year 2025 will be!
I was introduced to your channel through your backyard wildlife pond. I love that pond and am really looking forward to any updates.
So many amazing projects this past year. I’m really happy you were able to regulate your sleep! Looking forward to your incredible creativity in 2025!
the Tomato should be named "Tom"
Haha I like it. Good idea!
@@melemisu3259 Frogs called Tom & Matt would be pretty funny 🍅
Its hearing things like this that make me appreciate my health. Take care and dont push yourself too hard serpa, we love you
You popped up on my UA-cam feed over 7 years ago and I've been watching ever since!
Always enjoy the year end review! Yyou had a great year and looking forward to all 2025 has to offer!
I think it's great that you are taking time to take care of yourself! Turn that love that you have for all your animals and creations to yourself!
your work is a light in the murky waters of the internet! thank you for sharing!
A definitive guide on how to source buy and reuse materials.
I LOVE your videos tanner thank you for existing i hope to get a chance to meet you and thank you one day. You helped me reconnect with my draw to nature and I've done so many builds inspired by you. Here's to improving in 2025!!
Didnt know Samson was so smooth. Loves me? We need to slow down. At least meet my parents first
Definitive guide to finding the right plants at your local store.
Absolutely ’definitive guide’. Your videos/creations are inspiring me with pond build and appreciating the critters around our yard.
Keep taking care of yourself. You can't do what you love if you don't feel well. Thanks for all you do
I genuinely think the longer, more in depth videos are so nice, and I think my favorite last year was the pond saga.
Vous avez l'air plus passionné que jamais ! Bonne année à vous, qu'elle soit source d'inspiration et de satisfaction.
Thank you Sammy for all you've done for the community.
Love these recaps. I agree that sleep gets SO much more important as we age/deal with stress. Looking forward to see what you create!
Can’t wait for all you have for us in the upcoming year. There’s nothing better than watching an artist at work.
I have to sit those ones out 😱)
I see Samson, I click. That said, I think a definitive lighting guide for the various styles of tanks would be pretty useful.
I love your videos, Tanner. I will always watch whenever you post. I think you did great in 2024. And 2025 sounds exciting. Gina 🐸
Blessed with Sammie luck 🙏 2025 will be a good year for sure ❤
Samson said to come here and here I am. Learned so much from your channel. ❤
Been here for four years, not going anywhere for the fifth! Thank you for the comfort content all this time.
