- Fake job postings in the United States have become increasingly prevalent, and it's essential to recognize the warning signs to protect yourself from scams. Here are some common characteristics and red flags to watch out for:
Common Characteristics of Fake Job Postings:
Unsolicited Offers: You receive an offer without having applied for the job.
High Salary with Minimal Experience: Offers an unusually high salary for minimal experience or qualifications.
Request for Personal Information: Asks for personal information early in the process, such as your Social Security number, bank details, or other sensitive data.
Immediate Job Offer: Offers the job immediately without a proper interview process.
Vague Job Descriptions: Provides very little detail about the job duties and responsibilities.
Unprofessional Communication: Contains spelling and grammatical errors in emails or job postings.
Non-Company Email Addresses: Uses free email services like Gmail, Yahoo, or Hotmail instead of a company email domain.
Upfront Fees: Requires you to pay for training, equipment, or other expenses upfront.
Lack of Online Presence: The company has no website or a very basic one, and little to no online presence or reviews.
Too Good to Be True: The offer seems too good to be true.
Examples of Common Fake Job Scams:
Reshipping Scams: These jobs involve receiving packages at your home and then reshipping them. Often, these goods are purchased with stolen credit cards.
Data Entry Scams: Promises high pay for simple data entry tasks but requires an upfront fee for training or software.
Mystery Shopper Scams: Involves getting paid to shop at specific stores, but often asks for personal information or upfront fees.
Check Cashing Scams: You receive a check to deposit and are asked to wire a portion of the money back. The check eventually bounces, and you are left responsible for the amount.
Freelance/Work-from-Home Scams: Promises high pay for freelance or work-from-home jobs but asks for upfront fees for training or materials.
How to Protect Yourself:
Research the Company: Verify the legitimacy of the company by checking their website, reviews, and LinkedIn profile.
Be Skeptical of Upfront Fees: Legitimate employers do not ask for money upfront for any reason.
Verify Job Postings: Check if the job is posted on the company's official website.
Use Trusted Job Sites: Use reputable job search websites like LinkedIn, Indeed, or Glassdoor.
Protect Personal Information: Do not share sensitive personal information until you are certain the job and company are legitimate.
Trust Your Instincts: If something feels off, it probably is. Do not hesitate to walk away from a suspicious job offer. - Розваги
From $7K to $45K that's the minimum range of profit return every week I thinks it's not a bad one for me, now I have enough to pay bills and take care of my family.
Wow that's awesome
But I still love my mentor Sophia
Sophia my life savior
Sophia . strategy has normalized winning trades for me also. and it's a huge milestone for me looking back to how it all starte
Invest in stocks is a great way to invest your money. The team is constantly checking the market for changes and make sure that you are always informed about the best time to invest. As a result, I have made I'm celebrating a $52k stock portfolio today. I started this journey with 6k. I have invsted on time and also with the right terms now I have time for my family and the life ahead of memore money than ever before, and I don't have to manage my portfolio on my own! Invest in stocks, it's worth it
My dad, who is 82, told me when he was young an unemployed bum on social welfare could qualify for and pay a mortgage. A few years ago I spoke to a 30 yr old surgeon who was stoked he qualified for a mortgage on a house in a mediocre suburb. It's ridiculous.
A 30yo surgeon sounds like someone who just graduated from Med school, meaning they haven’t earned much yet, least yet pay iff their school debt
Thanks for the comment!
Real jobs haven't existed the moment the government decided to outsource manufacturing.
How many more people do we need sitting in a cubicle staring at a monitor for 6 to 8 hours a day? 😳
Haha 🤣
Colleges and Universities should be forced to reimburse students for graduating these unqualified young people with expensive worthless degrees. Ideologues have gotten away with indoctrinating our children with impunity and now, we're reaping the results. Hold them accountable!
I agree Biden wants to forgive student loans that would be a good start!
@@Cryptokent You must have misunderstood. I don't want to forgive student loans. I want schools to be forced to do it. I also want that fool out of office!
The sad part is that some degrees are just not valued anymore. We need people to continue to develop and retain the knowledge, all of it, even if it is not valued by a capitalistic environment. It's never worthless. Too expensive, yes. Education should be free and encouraged.
@@Cryptokent not that! The banks who loaned them the money should eat the cost, not taxpayers. I didn't go to college because I didn't think I could 'make it' and pay back the debt. These self-important morons with high opinions of themselves should never be given these loans, before you had to prove you've got what it takes for a scholarship/grant
Unqualified graduates has always been an issue , no matter what generation you were in. The difference is that degrees used to be rare, valued and companies were willing to take you and your unqualified degree. Nowadays, everybody has a degree, competition is fierce and let’s not forget how fast technology has evolved and how often one needs to up skill just to be relevant. The days of having technology gaps of a fax machine to a cordless phone are gone. Btw, AI can actually do mundane low end task that were actually providing jobs for generations. There’s a lot more that goes into the reasons why this generation is struggling.
If money is not separated from State, this situation never improves.
I got laid off yesterday from a large insurance company without any warning and realize it might be months and hundreds of applications before I get even a handful of interviews. Rough waters ahead not only for me but many others ..
Thanks for being the first comment sorry to hear about losing your job. I agree the future is not looking good.
Apply for unemployment insurance immediately and start with asking friends or family if they know anyone hiring.
I lost my housing twice during the pandemic and live in an old Toyota Sienna minivan now.

Thanks for the comment! No tattoo here I think it must hurt I've had 2 heart surgeries don't need anymore needles stuck in me.
You right sick of these $17 dollar a hour jobs
Funny now the media is saying increasing minimum wage is why we have inflation like printing trillions had nothing to do with it!
Exactly! The last jobs I've had has paid $16.72, $15 and now the one I start in June pays $16.50, it's really ridiculous! I bought me a camper and will keep this job just long enough to buy my land and get a few other things in order to get my living expenses as low a possible. I'm better off DoorDash'ing, selling my lil personalized products, or something and having more control of my time while still making the same $2000 Mt (approx) that these jobs are paying.
I make 18 but I was supposed to be getting 21. The union discovered that some of our staff was being ripped off we just don't know who's doing it.
$17 before taxes
@@LovelyLisha3 I'm a strategist so I have a solution for you.Get a trailer and find a friendly farmer that lives 20-30 minutes from a city or town.Pay for all the hydro for the farm and dump in his septic tank, drink his good water and ask for a plot to grow food. You may have to pay 20% of his taxes so you are needed ? Then if the farmer is a jerk lay low and look at other farms. Meanwhile quietly stack 50 K for land and other or stay on the farm is what I would do to survive this next 10-15 years of hell.
Why play a rigged game when you are going to lose. I'm 20 and I see the system for what it is.
All these old folks don't understand the law of conservation of energy, and that the righteous wrath of God through the people cleansing the temple is the answer
@@laughattack1204So are we, as the temple, supposed to deliver the Wraith of God?
@@melindagallegan5093no. Only God will do that as it is written….vengeance is mine I will repay.
Like if you’ve been falsely accused of being lazy constantly
Yo, are you walking around saying this? You're WILD, dude. Love it 🤘
The younger generation has a different work ethic
Interesting point I've read thousands of comments you first to bring up that the actual people are different. Thanks!
You nailed it. Exhausted of the bullshit, I like these genuine videos.
Def be laid off like that in the past worked 60-70 hour work weeks. Put in a ton of time getting my engineering licenses working on large systems for society.....it doesnt matter to most companies. I saved what i could and bought a home outright i can afford. Most things are basically a scam. Cheers from so cal
It shows how clueless everyone in this comment thread is about how economics works.
Its very hard to find truth in anything. Most staff arent motivated even the higher income earners. You also have gery high taxes...even if you are lucky to make $200k per year.....very hard to buy real estate or raise a traditional family
That’s why I don’t start a family until my finances are good and prosperous.
If it never happens due to destiny, oh well it was never in the cards
Many scientists of the past never had children to begin with
Look at Tom Brady and Will Smith. A trad family isn't possible without a society controlled by religion.
Tattoos haven't been rebellious for over 10 years, they're just self expression now.
Btw amazed you are 63 you look 20 years younger!
Thanks for the compliment, 😁. The tattoo thing was bound to get some response, maybe it's just I grew up on a farm in Western Nebraska.
@@Cryptokent I totally understand. I' not young anymore and don't have tattoos and nor do I want any. In my day they were not acceptable below the elbow if you wanted to roll sleeves up at the office. Yet now they are everywhere, though I really don't think facial tattoos will ever be fully accepted. In Asia they are still associated with "criminality" though attitudes are slowly changing.
I believe you two are correct in a way.
Tattoos are toxic. The dyes get absorbed through the skin and show up in your liver
Lot of jobs are not producing much value thats why they pay a lot less . And to many jobs pay way to much for there value . Its messed up
Yea like the entertainment industry...super overpaid to keep people's attention off the things that really matter.
@@LovelyLisha3exactly
Some of these lazy old folks need to retire from their jobs and let youngsters fill the positions
a lot of these 'lazy old folks' are now just servicing the debt, the bills don't go away because you're old stupid
You look much younger than 64.
Thank you very much. I learned with these video the less I show my face the better they do. Appreciate the kind words.
Happy early birthday 🎂!
Happy Birthday !
Exactly. People in this country are more proud of and impressed by growth of wealth/asset valuation than WORK.
Like…work is what. Takes to pay rent or your mortgage every month. Be proud of that, sure! But your house value doesn’t mean ANYTHING until you sell it or pay your taxes. If nobody can BUY your home, is it even worth that much???
Having a house is forced savings. A lot if people down size when they get older and live off of the difference. It’s the end game that’s important
I remember this area. I used to live in Southern California (LBC)❤
I take a lower pay role because if too high the tax and you first to be let go. Sometimes better to work 4 shifts than 5
Son is 26 deisel mech by trade, no debt (thanks to us we saved and invested since he was born) bought his house on his own at 20 he is 26 now, he owns his own paining small handyman co.
Daughter is 18 goes to U of S Carolina for orthodontia working on getting out a year early (busting her tail) the money left will go to dental school.
Great planning and great to hear a positive story
Dude come through at the La Mesa farmers market on Fridays between 1-7pm. Great third place to be with safe vibes for children. They also have live music with diverse crowds from the community
Yes very nice place thanks for the comment!
Biblically we are supposed to have a reset every 7 years.
It like if sounds like you’re having fear of missing out because of inflation. Yes sir, you missed the boat in March of 2020. It’s a dream if you think it going back down. We are in a nightmare.
I'm surprised UA-cam even let you post this.
Old folk are not lazy but there reliable and use to seing grandparents and parents have stable roles and businesses. Youngsters try trading
it's been 2 yrs applying for job in stem field as an Engineer since graduation. no job yet 😪🥵
Just this year (5month) I've applied to 2'000 position that lead to 2 interviews.
It hurts BAD! Now I am working on CDL
You angry? I graduated with a
stem degree. Couldn’t find a job except a temp job through a shady temp agency. I was so pissed off.
@@user-lu6yg3vk9z Man! I share the struggle. After so much investment, to get back at the starting point is humbling. I think I will find success trucking until I can finance my fight school. It might take 3 to 5 yrs (this includes 1500hrs flight). Although nothing is guaranteed, I believe it is much more profitable (UPS pays their captain 350K/yr and about half the co-pilot). Plus, They only work 80hrs a month. I share this to u bc I hope that we can find or create our luck. I thought long enough of starting a company (product based). But I never had a life and I don't think I am a good fit at the moment.
+ some airline company requires to have a degree with the commercial license to be employed.
Brother don't give up on hope, keep fighting for what you want and don't let this world make u bitter!

Problem pis what job skills do young people have today ? My nephew wants to be a professional gamer and doesnt have a H.S. diploma.
Those "job skills" won't mean much of anything in the end. Survival skills like hunting, farming, building shelter and overall resourcefulness is what matters in the long run. Our money is constantly being devalued so fiat currency through a job is meaningless
Stop recommending CBDCs when BTC was invented by the CIA. They're just going to take our money in the long run.
what else do you know?
Great video, Kent! Although, I disagree, nowadays people get tattoo because they want to fit in or they just want to look cool.
You may be right I debated about mentioning the tattoos but thought why not see how people react. Thanks for the comment!
I like your vids. Question for you... What do you mean by let them speculate some more? What do you mean by those people who speculated? What do you mean by speculate? Is this specifically pertaining to the stock market? Thanks.
When hedge funds put billions in the stock market they are speculating if the market isn't allow to fail their speculation always wins. These funds are highly leveraged and should be subject to the market forces.

I bought a third of a bitcoin at 24k.
Nice you have a tripple
Bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme
How does bitcoin work exactly?
@rasenganshimada208 Bitcoin is a crypto coin. You can buy whole bitcoin or fractions of it from a brokerage account. Every 4 yrs, there's what's called the "halving" of bitcoin. Those miners picked to mine bitcoin have their mining of it cut in half. Bitcoin is priced on its scarcity and the amount of bitcoin bought and out of circulation. It is very volatile. 21 million bitcoin is the maximum that will ever be mined and that will occur somewhere around 2140. You can buy through ETF's now!

Surprisingly I’ve been offered two jobs so far but I will have to quit smoking weed because I will need to get a cdl in the waste water/water treatment industry one for a private company and the other for my city. It is good pay but I see nothing wrong with me smoking on my days off. It relaxes me after being told what do by 8 different bosses and each one want something done now even though my duties are to keep an eye on my machine and the plc computer screen for any machine breakdowns. Two nights ago I had two hours left before my shift ends. End of shift we clean up and the waste tote was filled up and because my coworker for some reason isn’t forklift certified like me I had to change it. Went from a 3 minute clean up job to almost an hour. I deal with it but on my day off I just want to smoke some Za and play video games and relax and prepare for the next week of stress for 45 more years
