- If you have problems with your tumble dryer, maybe this movie can help.
This is a film showing the most common problem. My dryer stops and beeps.
Here is what to do!
You need to remove the left side panel, this is the side where the drain container is, once removed you will see the drain pump with two pipes coming from it, remove the pipes and top cover, disconnect the wiring, remove the pump unit with the clip, clean the float unit and pump, also remove the congealed mess in the water trough as this is what holds the float up and makes the machine think the drain container is full. Also check the fuse in the back of the dryer. - Наука та технологія
Fixed my Siemens IQ300 today with this recording. Superb work!
The reset button is not available on my device, but it wasn't necesarry.
Solved similar issue with Siemens E47 37. Thank you very much for publishing this. Fantastic how 1 video can have a positive impact on so many people. You're a boss sir !
You rock. I just repaired my dryer thanks to your tutorial. Many, many thanks for uploading!
You are a genious! I was extremely close bying a new tumble dryer when I by chance found your video. Thanks a lot man!
This guy saves lives - what a great tutorial, thank you.
Just fixed my dryer after watching your tutorial. Thanks a lot. Works again now
Thank you. We had this problem and its been driving my wife crazy for the last few months. Sorted the problem today thanks to your video.
Thank you! When I saw your video I noticed your siemens had the same inside as my Bosch Advantixx 7. I followed your steps and now it works! Many thanks!
This video has already saved my dryver 3x times!!! Works like a charm!!!
Thank you! just the first part of the video was enough encouragement to get me inside my Siemens tumble dryer and clean our the "water full" tank/sensor mechanism.
Super uitleg !!!
Mvg Ruben
Thank you very much for the video. I had the same problem and with your help i fixed it. There was a large amount of dust and water underneath the plastic lit. The float was covered in filth. You could pull the float from it's housing and clean it. I am happy that i found your video. Best regards,Henk
Thanks so much, saved us a new dryer. Excellent video!
Thanks a lot. Exact this was the problem of my daughter's tumble dryer. A very good manual/video. Regards from Germany.
Tak for hjælpen. Ikke nok med at du selv har løst dit eget problem, du har også haft overskud til at dele løsningen med os andre. Det fungerede perfekt. Husk at slå strømmen fra når man skiller maskinen ad.
Excellent video, and it enabled me to fix my dryer. Thanks!!!
It worked exactly like described! Thanks after one hour
Great video - my tumble dryer is now working properly - could not believe how much gunge I removed.
fantastic video it saved me 150 euro and it only took about 35 min thank you so much for sharing
I have a Bosch Maxx 7 Sensitive, and it seems to be exactly the same dryer, this video helped a lot, thanks!!!
Perfect video for just my problem 😄 was easy to get to leveler just clean up the water and smudge and your tumble dryer is fixed in no time!
Thanks for the guide! Problem solved, money saved!
Man thank a lot you saved me you’re a legend❤️
Fixed the dryer thanks to this video thanks!
What a brilliant video. I used it to fix a Bosch WTS86516GB which seems to be the same internals with a slightly different front panel. You absolute legend!
Thanks for this video! Helped me to finally fix the gunked pump problem :)
Thank you so much!! My dryer works like new now! :)
thank you very much, you helped me fixed my dryer!
THANKS A LOTT DUDE. I OWE YOU A BEER! got mine dryer working again thanks to your video
Thank you! This is the dryer the military issued us now that we’re stationed overseas. The time it took for them to fix something is usually six weeks. Now that we’re in the midst of the coronavirus they’re not even answering the phones.
Old video, but so is the tumbler model I guess. It worked fine fixing my tumbler although the model was a bit different. Thanks man!
You are a legend. Fixed (I hope!) after discovering ours was totally full of junk. Thank you for posting this, saved me an expensive call out to an engineer.
Thanks Alastair McAlpine ! Remember to check the fuse. The fuse on the back side was knocked out on my machine
Beautiful demonstration. I know what to do in the morning now.
Thsank you thank you than you.
Thanks. Machine was a little different but same problem. Very dirty water under. Cleaned it and now works as new.
Thank you You saved me a lot of money 👍👍
Awesome info! saved the christmas budget =)
Worked, not a problem, though as usual left with one extra screw. Thanks
Thanks a ton, man! Worked like a charm =)
Thanks.
This also worked for my Bosch WTE 8630
Thank you! You resolved my problem the with dry machine!
Thank you so much, it would probably have cost me a new dryer if I hadn't found this video.
Thank you very much.
It helped me a lot.
thanks for saving så many resourses of steel and copper, and money, and nature.
Brilliant.. mine was full.of gunk. All fixed in under an hour. Cheers man!
I do think that perhaps in the future i can access the plastic flap after removing the condensor cartridge and get under it to clean most of the gunk out in 2 minutes. Guess ill clean in there now and again in the future. Cheers again 👍
Tried this on my WT46S510SK. Worked great, similar setup. It was gross inside.
Two additions:
- I think you might be able to fix this error without screwing it apart in many cases. There's a little lid at bottom behind the metal filter that you can pull out. From there you could clean out most stuff and maybe even the floater (partially at least)
- If you screw it apart, the four screws on the back and one below should be enough, just bend the side apart.
Thanks for the vid!
Thx a lot!, This saved my day
Thank you very much. I fixed it :)
Thanks a lot for this helpful video
Thank you so much. That solved my problem. Maybee I should do this once a year, just because I can :)
Thanks for sharing... Same problem and solved
Love is such a strong word, but I really do think I love you - in a non-sexual, non-comitted way - just pure affection, cause you just saved me a new dryer - at least for the foreseable future. Thanx a lot, most appreciated. How anyone could make a "thumbs down" is beyond me ;-)
Asmus Thomsen Thanks for the positive comment. Glad I could help. My dryer is still running :-)
The ones giving this thumbs down: The repair people from Siemens that charge €900 for doing this little trick probably. :D
Sales staff at the dryer stores
Thank you ever so much! Like the others this saved my dryer!
worked for newer iq300 as well. thank you a lot .
Thanks a lot! It works again!
Thanks for the video, you saved my at least $100 :)
i have this new tumble dryer with self-cleaning system and etc... and my pump is on the right side and far in. So it's possible to remove is out (without removing the whole centrifuge) and clean with some patience and assistant with small hands =)
But in my case pump and sensor (electrical, not mechanical) were covered by dust (and not by parts of clothes as in this video), so i'm thinking maybe this dust is coming not from the centrifuge, but from the outside of the tumble dryer. I'm going to install a filter on the fan, and it should reduce amount of dust inside the tumble dryer.
Thank you! You helped alot!
Thanks, nice and clean machine. I notised that you can access the same drainage from inside. Clean out the drainage when you once in a while clean the condensator.
thank you for sharing.
yes i foollowed ur video and it worked for me.
Thanks for that, I fixed mine the same way.
Thx man. From belgieum
Thx, fixed the problem
Fixed my problem👍👍
Thanks mate ! You just saved me a fortune. The chamber behind the pump in the dryer was full of what I can only describe as sludge. Cleaned everything out and all is working. Happy wife happy life!
Indeed, never seen anything like it... yuck!
Spot on, thanks!
Thank you! I just took out about 3 sweaters' worth of damp lint out of that reservoir and the dryer is running like new :)
Fantastic! You saved my bacon...
Thanks a lot! I just fixed it :-)
The intstructions worked great with a Bosch Home Professional bought in 2012. But note that this model has a kind of drawer on the back side that provides access to the area that needs cleaning to stop the false beeping.
wow thanks - i couldnt believe how much cr*p I had down there saved me a new dryer
Thanks for the video, I have the exact same washing machine but unfortunately the problem didn't get fixed! Tak!
Thanks a lot!
Veldig bra. Prøvde dette på min Zanussi, litt annerledes, lå vann i bunnen av pumpeskåla. Men dessverre stoppa maskinen etter 1 time med samme melding om tank. Er vel konka...
Thanks a lot man :-)
Great thanks for the advice ; I will try it if my dryer does not work (well it's not a Siemens but I suspect Bosch use the same "template" ^^)
Thx man!!! 😃
Thanks a lot. I will try but I'm sure I will succeed. Down with Siemens for this design mistake
Thanks. I opened top behind but not beside dryer thanks . I'll fix it.
nice 📹 thank you
Thanks, it would have taken only 20 minutes if I had not forgotten to replace all parts like the pump enclosure and the box around the unit before attaching the side panel back… (like in the video…).
One addition: it is easy to take out the float unit from inside the guide pipe, easier to clean the gunk out of the tube and float.
Thx!
Before doing this, thoroughly clean out the gunge from the filter compartment, back and front, use a torch you will see. That usually works. If the pump/float mechanism fails try the video method but be prepared to replace these parts.
Just got this error today, tumbler 11 years old. Drain pipe was full of gunk at the end so cleaned that but still beeps. Guess it’s the same problem inside. Will clean it tomorrow and hopefully it works.
Jævla bra. TUSEN TAKK
Wonderful guide! So proud to successfully (I thought) execute on the steps - now for the 2nd time during the approx 10 year lifetime so far of our appliance. Closed it up snugly, then started machine again. (Oops!... please note the comment about test run before remounting the panels.) About 3-5 minutes into the cycle -- POOF! All electric in the house went out. Reset the main switch & then tried again. POOF instantly! Will the "press the red button in case the fuse has collapsed" resolve this?... Must admit, forgot to do this step & now too tired to work on the project any further for today.
Thanks for sharing, the pump was full of water and garbage. However still got the same problem (after about 5 min. a few beeps and two lights (start (bottom) - dry (up)) blinking. So I was looking for the fuse, however no red button on the back any ideas or tips? It is a Siemens / Bosch WTE46.170
Hey, what about cleaning the condensor after pump unit?
Dudes and Dudettes, this looks exactly like the same format/setup as the Bosch Axxis dryer, with the same problem. See the advanced cleaning video on youtube for the Bosch Axxis FO3 error code. You may, like on the Axxis dryer, be able to reach this assembly through the air cooler assembly on the front bottom of the dryer, instead of having to remove the entire side of the dryer, as shown here.
@Eyjólfur Hannesson ... You're welcome :)
hi,
thank for the video,
I have a self condenser, and the same probleme, should I clean like you show?
Yes! Because the dust/dirt can make the level switch to not move.
Hi all. I have an old WTLX 720 K SIEMENS EKSTRAKLASSE. im having huge problems finding the pump. I guess because it's an older model, that is differently built. I cannot find any pump at all. Im stuck. It's a great machine though.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I was able to take it apart the same way, but in mine everything sits inside this big gray plastic enclosure that I can't get open. :(
Perhaps the pump is accessible from the rear. Locate the pump according to the tubing from the water tank
Does anyone know where I can find the senor in a model with vent outlet siemens(none condense) it beeps and stops aswell.
I tried to have a look, like video but there where no sensors at the back like the one in video.
But if I only knew where to find the sensor that makes it stop it would be easy to find thanks to the video above.
Great video, but my float reservoir is actually full....water isn't draining. Any ideas on where I can get parts? I'm in USA
Julee Armstrong I don`t know where you can get parts. But I guess your problem is that the "floating mekanisme" showing 1:30 in the film is stuck. This tells the machine when to pump the water. You must also check if the impeller right beside is stuck. This is the mechanism for sucking the water.
Those screws are the special ones, which screwdriver have you used?
If I remember correct it was normal screwdriver and 6 star bits. A bit sett will probebly solve this for you.
I have emptied the drain container but there is a leftover water in my tub...how should I drain that out??? Please answer.
Hi. I would use paper or simelar. That is what I used : )
I have siemens wt44w360nl/01. Will it work with my dryer?
I don`t know if it will work. But may be worth a try :)
god video _)
You need to access the rear of the dryer?
Yeah, good luck getting that thing out of the tiny room it's currently in, on top of the washing machine. I'm screwed.
Good thing I bought insurance on this thing.
no floor protector oh no
I have done everything and it still does not work; damaged pump or magnetic contact maybe?
Did you find the fuse?
@@kvold Yes.
Wouldn't that mess up the warranty?
I don't know. But I saved maybe 600$. And it is still running :)
