The problem with leftist politics (subsidies, corruption, resistance) is that it needs a messiah on top who is often a feudal like Zardari, an economic hitman like Dar or a cult leader like Imran. Pakistan's tragedy is that it does not have a proper right-wing that presents poverty as a sin instead of a medal. The right is hijacked by religious parties that do politics on leftist ideals such as charity, equality and accountability instead of industry, business and education. A secular, capitalist, far-right is desperately needed and Jibran Nasir is the opposite of that.
