I worked as an Amazon driver for almost a year it's the same story, I had to deliver almost 400+ parcels a day 6 days a week and was financially penalised if I was falling behind or couldn't complete a route. My DSP even tried to make me do illegal things just so they could make their delivery rate. I'm now part of a collective claim against my former DSP and Amazon. Warehouse workers are well within their rights to do what is necessary to stop this company from taking liberties.

They were hesitant at first but I kept pushing anthem finally got an answer they said it was for “office admin costs”! Which they shouldn’t be charging me for also I keep a record on the numbers of days and routes that I do and they didn’t pay me for quite a lot of them straight up crooks.
This is so true, this is the only warehouse there is no union. You are literally helpless and managers do as they please with workers. You cannot talk back if you do you get moved.
Amazon unfortunately is not a company that will budge, not especially with what they consider to be their 'grunt' workers. They will simply overload with agency staff, and oust the current warehouse operatives. They are too big, and profitable to care.
As someone who recently left this company, I would say that the pay and conditions are awful. Never have I felt exploited as much as the time I spent there.

Unionise. The bonuses are minimal. The hour flexibility is false - good luck requesting certain days off rota. Pay rates are fixed anyway. Share options require 3 years of work to make them worthwhile, where most employees are pushed out after 2. All of the incentives amazon gives for not unionising are empty promises.

Isn't it anyone's choice to work there? Maybe it's true that Amazon needs to change the workers rights and pay but you do read the contract before, you must have a trial shift as well. There are plenty of job vacancies these days due to Brexit and I believe you can easily find something else to do.
I have visited Amazon warehouses before. You will only find young and fit workers. Anyone who can't keep up with the front of the pack gets pushed out.
I been working for uber eats and we don’t get paid minimum wega £11.44 like today I been out since 6pm all I made is £26 😂😂 if government wants tax they need to do something about this !!! It's sad that Amazon drivers can't unionise as they are self employed. That's where slave labor is in Amazon. Doing 190 stops per day, around 240-290 locations. I'm lucky to be done with it but worst experience of my life. Running 9 hours/10 hours with no breaks and if by some chance you finish early (like no reattempts at this day or less traffic) they will just add more to your route next time. Started job with 230lbs of weight, after less than a year I was 180. Avoid at all cost
If only Amazon could pick up and deliver the parcel that sat 4 days outside my house when I told them it was not addressed to me and just deliver it to the correct address. I o

This is factually incorrect. One American Amazon site has unionized, JFK8. The company has refused to recognize the union.
Amazon have some really nasty rules that are expected of you to work there for little pay. I fully support those unionising.
