@@pjohansson89 I just tested this rn, you can talk through the watch if someone is calling you but you can't ask the Google assistant to call someone because it will automatically go through the phone. I know, it's pretty weird lol
@@RendonTech haha that at least is something that will work then, you can ask the watch to start a call?, and it starts on your phone and if you have a pair of wireless headphones that doesn't support voice assistent you can still make the call without taking up your phone at least😉 is that the right assumption?
My Versa 3 works just fine. Good fitness tracker and enough smart watch features. The battery life is great compared to the Samsung Watch and Icrap Watch. I've gotten used to the button on the side but it took awhile.
These watches are meant to be worn loosely. The irritation is from moisture being trapped by silicone. That’s why Fitbit is telling people to take them off. Wear it loosely and you don’t have issues. Great review.
The watch looks really good on your wrist, I have to say. Gold and midnight blue, I was contemplating of getting that color combination and you might just have convinced me to do so.
I really like it ,,easy to live with ,works well and battery is no hassle ,,I also have a galaxy 4 which is great but lasts a day or so , you can also top it up off your phone ,,I like both with Galaxy looks being diff they are both good smart watches , Samsung is better to use easier though fitbit is fine also Samsung phone answering speaker is way better but I love the fitbit has its place and beautifully made

She has a Google Pixel phone so I like this as an option because it is compatible. Than you again for a great review and lots of great tips!
I personally don't have one, but from my understanding, it's possible to send texts and make calls through the Versa 3 for Android only. Since your daughter has a Google Pixel she should be able to!
Depends. How long have you had versa 2 and wether or not you would use the gps feature. I honestly think it would be good to upgrade. The way to put on the Versa 2 band is really bad.
Did they ever fix the issue with the lack of manual water lock? People on the forum, as of January 2021, where saying that the screen only locks in lap swimming mode leaving the watch to react as if pressed by a finger when water from rain, shower, hand washing, etc touch it. This lead to changed settings and even restarting. I teach water fitness classes, both on deck and in the pool, so this could be a problem for me. What are your thoughts on this?
They are pretty good on fixing bugs and issues. I bet they have fixed it by now if the bug/issue is from January. If not then they will probably fix it soon!
No it knows driving bumps vs walking steps and it combines swinging motion of arms to steps i feel that when your on the treadmill don't hold on make sure that arm is swinging 👍

Smart watches only seem to connect to Cell Phones. I bought my dad the newest apple watch and it wouldn't connect to his ipad. I bought my daughter a Fitbit Versa 2 then had to get her a cell phone to connect it. It would not work with the 3 different tablets we tried.

Just got the verse 3 and so far it’s great. The notifications work great on my iPhone. Only thing I don’t like is the “button” on the side

Yes there is an option for an always on display and there is a seconds timer as well !
