Could you explain to me how you changed your bushings in the brake the way mine came with 3 hard bushings and a strong spring I can’t Hardly press on the brakes I can put all my body weight on it and I’ll only get them up to 20%. I can’t find any videos or anything about it.
I’m not sure if you had this but the initial travel of the brake and the throttle isn’t being recognised like I will move my peddles a tiny bit and it won’t get recognised and I’ve calibrated it many times
Hi, can I ask you a favor? I bought Simpson pedals. I'm not very expert and today my first gaming PC arrived. I play with a Fanatec Clubsport UIL base w 2.5 steering wheel. I tried to activate the competition racing setup but I can't make the pedals work. What can I do? Please help me. Thank you very much
Got these pedals , were working great. Now for some reason they wont connect anymore. Any ideas. Have changed USB ports, reinstalled software, tried Freejoy. Whats the firmware version for these pedals and where can you get it, cant see it on Simsonns site and their customer service isn't replying.
@@leazesndr5318 I only have the software version that I linked in one of my simsonn pedal videos. I uploaded it to Google drive I believe. Did anything change before they stopped working?
I bought these pedals and swapped them around. The height of the pedals goes up 1 inch. The height of the middle of pivot point for pedal went from 1 to 2 inches max height but the angle only changed a little maybe like 3-5 degrees angled back. I will pair with vnm pedal plate which allows me to adjust the height of the heel rest but probably won't be worth it. Will update when pedal plate comes.
You will need some sort of sturdy base to mount them to. The brake takes a decent amount of pressure and if they are not mounted properly you won't get the full effect of the load cell, and they'll bounce around. You can get one of the 100.00+ dollar half cockpits from ebay, with pedal mounts.

do you know of a way to minimize the initial deadzone of the pedals? Its a bit annoying pressing my brake pedal and the first 1/4 inch of travel does nothing :/
@nativerezmedia I ditched the calibration tool and used freeJoy instead. The simsonn software was setting the minimum value too high. This gave the pedals way too much play before the software would register any input. I reset and customized the min and max values such that resting your foot on the pedal doesn't do anything, but any additional force gets registered in game.
@@roam3r690 something either was wrong with your hardware setup, or you were using the software wrong. You must have had some deadzone added in the software when you were calibrating the pedals. That's basically what the calibration is.. It sets the min and max input of the pedals range. If you have deadzone turned up before calibration it will save to the pedals.

Can the pedals be adjusted so they aren’t straight up and down
Yes, but only forward, not back.
You can swap the adjustment brackets from back to front and vice versa but from what I read you will need a heel plate as it will sit even higher
