    For even better quality, take the corners and hole down with a 1/4" round over bit. It will look really good, and will save the bags from ripping.

      Also, I do like the looks of the satin as well

      And I like to inset the frame an inch all of the way around

      @@thepioneerworkshop1218 no... with the one inch off set and 1x3 frames it keeps the tops within ACL league standards

    What stain color did you use for the hole section? Looks like natural in the middle, maybe hickory on the edges sides and bottom! They look great!

      Hi, I used Dark Walnut and natural stains. The hole section is painted black same as the stripes. Thanks Denny

    Do both boards play the same? Is the gloss faster than the satin?

      I’m not sure what brand of poly he is using but I made a few sets with behr satin(x4 coats) and they are way slicker than gloss. Satin does look better but they are really hard to play on.
