If you go 7 days without using any nukes or selecting any nuke upgrades you will get the option for a secret perk that I think would have been perfect for your first run.
Nova Drift is basically Asteroids, but a bonkers roguelike. Utopia Must Fall is basically Missile Command, but a bonkers roguelike. I'm okay with this.
Excelent job, I gotta say some things you might have missed is the nukes go where your cursor is and detonate there, that and the "weird guy" with the purple radius is an anti-nuke craft that nullifies nukes in that purple radius. Happened to you a few times but you didn't seem to notice at the time. (I know chances are you did after rewatching this gameplay for the upload, but wanted to mention in case ya missed it.) Would love to see more!
This seems great, I remeber playing MAD on newgrounds back in the day. 2 things I noticed however. 1. Your shield has 0 recharge of any sort until you get that first upgrade. 2 your laser towers did not target those push bombs at all which is what caused most of your issues in that second run.
It seemed like that weird stealth guy with the circle around was some sort of anti nuke shield. Every nuke you fired at him fissiled out. Very cool, keep the videos of this coming!
For the Algorithm!!! This was cool. Its like all the classics are come back but with awesome new twists!! Hey PixelJam Centipede and Millipede reimagined when?!?!?
Curious if there is any kind of meta improvements to be made or things to unlock, or if its just cold prog every run like ND. Kinda cool that people are revisiting these lo-fi games and giving them new life. COUGH-Ibingedallyournovadriftvideos*COUGH*
