      I know both Dublin and Cork well, and I MUCH prefer Cork. Stupid rivalry pisses me off. Dubliners really think they're tha shite, but they aren't. All us irish lads are equal for feck sake!
      Fighting for independence for so long and then once we get it, we fight each other... smh
      And by the way, Dublin, which capital of Ireland, it's far from the "most Irish".

    • @noreexic
      @noreexic 10 років тому +3

      ImSorryFive The culchies? It's not like once you get passed Stillorgan you hit one homogenized group of people who wear straw hats and howl at the moon, seriously grow up, and yes many do go to University in Dublin, of course many also go to Galway or Limerick or Belfast, and obviously as the centre of the economy there are many jobs in Dublin, that doesn't change the fact that Dublin is a very dangerous place to be.

    Diddies, holliers, and gee-eyed? hmm...not so Irish to be honest...there's too much specific Dublin slang in this, stuff that's too not so Irish and more particular to Dublin. And where's "put the messages into the press", "well" for when you saying hello, "what's the craic", takin the mick and so on...
    "Another one from the countryside", Cork isn't the countryside. And before anyone says it no I'm not from Cork or Dublin.

    • @courtneywillis3398
      @courtneywillis3398 9 років тому

      We say 'diddies' and 'holliers'. Just because your area doesn't say it, doesn't mean other areas in Ireland don't, there are loads of different dialects in this country- stop being so fecking narrow minded.

    • @GrahamPhelan
      @GrahamPhelan 9 років тому

      Courtney Willis One area in Ireland says it. "Stop being so fecking narrow minded". Ok well since you told me I better stop being "narrow minded" for finding what I found in this video a bit odd.
