Ireland shares a lot of culture with Scotland and there’s also Welsh culture aside from English and I think it’s pretty cool to be a part that. Also, my family is mostly Ulster Scots. We’re Northern irish but our culture is gonna be further away from Irish and probably closer to Scottish (not that anyone bothered to try and teach me about any Irish or Scottish history in school). Basically I feel an affinity with Northern Ireland but not so much with Ireland on it’s own, even though I still love Ireland as a country.
