    I've done this breathwork twice (the night before last and just now), and your recent sleep video once (last night). I have been suffering from insomnia and pain from breast cancer treatment for months, but have slept very deeply and pain free for the past 2 nights.
    Your intention shines through. I see the light in you. Thank you. 💗🙏

    I felt a little bit dizzy, and dryness in the throat. But I would really wanna know more about what's going on there in the body through mouth breathing.
    I mean the nose warms the air, cleanse it and make it damp while breathing through the mouth it drys the throat and might harm it. Isn't it? Would you please explain this point? With all my love. Blessings 🙏

    • @breathforlife-nicolerager1523
      @breathforlife-nicolerager1523  4 роки тому +8

      Hi! Thanks so much for your comment and question. You are right about all those reasons to breathe in and out through the nose! And normally that's what we all do and I advocate continuing to do on a regular basis. :) The reason we breathe in and out through the mouth during this particular practice is to gain more access to some of the stored emotions/dense energy/traumas in the lower chakras - the ones we usually have been holding in unconsciously. Mouth breathing under this kind of therapeutic circumstance and intention helps encourage the access and integration of those emotions. Also, may people tend to hold control in their jaw and lips and this practice of relaxing the jaw and mouth allows some of the control type fears to come up and out as well. :) That said, you are more than welcome to do this same practice through the nose and it will still be powerfully beneficial. Just keep the breath flowing and connected and try to keep the exhale nice and relaxed. Thanks again and much love and blessings to you! ❤️

    I do yogic breathwork (4-7-8 etc) and have done the Wim Hof but every time i try intensive breathwork through the mouth i feel dizzy and light headed (just did after about a minute doing this); is this normal and desirable to feel the benefits or am i pushing too hard?

    • @breathforlife-nicolerager1523
      @breathforlife-nicolerager1523  2 роки тому +1

      Hi! I’m so sorry for my slow reply. My advice would be to try slowing it down a little AND taking slightly smaller breaths, just to see how it feels. I can often get lightheaded when I haven’t practiced in a while or if I’m trying too hard. So perhaps give yourself permission to try an easy round and see! Sometimes it’s also common to feel a little lightheaded and then see if you can coach yourself internally for another minute or so, going easy, and see if you are able to relax into it or if something shifts. :)

    Does it help by depression?does it heal depression?

    • @desertgirldani4632
      @desertgirldani4632 Рік тому +1

      Absolutely, this method releases dopamine. The day I started breathwork, I was probably more depressed than I ever had been. I was on the edge. Breathwork was the last attempt. Transformational Breathwork not only helped my depression, it got rid of my PTSD, significantly reduced my anxiety, and overall made my life feel a lot better.

      hi, peggy! it's not just you! it happens for so many of us and at first it can be really frustrating or distracting...but usually if you just lick your lips a few times, or take a sip of water, eventually you'll forget about it. and your body will balance it out. try that and keep me posted how it goes for you! 😊

      Hi! Yes this happens to me sometimes, too! My encouragement would be to feel free to laugh and enjoy the sensations and the freedoms of being joyful. You can also explore what happens if you don’t laugh. If there’s something even deeper wanting to emerge. It’s all good and all normal! And each time it feels different for me so it would be interesting to see how it changes for you day to day. Thanks for being here :)

    Mouth breathing?

    • @desertgirldani4632
      @desertgirldani4632 Рік тому

      Yes, this method allows you to activate the Sympathetic Nervous System so that you are able to tap into your subconscious and move around thoughts, release traumas, get a boost of dopamine induced energy. The sessions that I do in school are much longer, however, I love coming and finding short sessions by people that have not guided me, to do when I need the boost or need to kind of tap into my thoughts and allow my feelings to be listened to, acknowledged, so that I will not be dwelling on experiences that should really only take about 90 seconds to face. It is not our problems that are the problem, it is the relationship to the problems that cause us to hold onto them. Now, if you have certain health issues you can do this method with inhaling through your nose and out of the mouth. If you are into breathwork, I would suggest reading Just Breathe by Dan Brule, Breathe by James Nestor, and play around with some of Wim Hof's videos. If you are more into the physical healthiness of breathwork, I would suggest reading anything by Patrick McKeowen, like the Oxygen Advantage.
