Intro to Jewelry: Sanding

In this video you will learn how to sand simple metal shapes. I'll show you how to make a sanding stick to increase your efficiency in sading and then the basic process (plus some good tips) for sanding. After this step you'll be ready to finish your piece with textures, patina or buffing! This is an introduction. Once you start working with soldered pieces and layers our approach to sanding morphs.

I like you! lol Sorry. I just discovered you with this particular video. I keep hearing 'take scratches out using a file.' So I saw you use the 320 grit, so I'm just going to try that. I just subscribed to you and probably should hunt around for your other videos as well. I set a cabochon for the first time and got lovely scratches all over the place. I was happy with myself until that part. Lol
