The funny part of it is 0:07, he realises he thinks his mum is even hotter!! Funnily enough he says in interview something along the lines of how he finds Lena so hot and has amazing chemistry with her like nobody else he has worked with and how amazing it is.
That was the great thing about how Summer played Cameron, she really did a great job of blurring the lines between real emotion and super advanced AI emotion.
The weirdest thing is that they all bonded pretty closely, especially John and Cameron, during the short series run, and in the final episode or two they reference the events of season one and two only covering a few months of time (I thought it was one-to-one with the real life episode release covering at least two seasons hence two years, but in fact there was only about 6 months of chronological time, not counting the leap in the bank vault). That seems like a very short period of time in which to accept and bond with a homicidal killing machine, but it's canon, because it happened in the second Terminator film between the T800 and the kid in an even shorter period of time. Maybe "infiltrating" doesn't mean getting in the front door and opening fire, it means actually getting close enough to be accepted as a comrade, friend, etc. And maybe some of the best infiltration is where the Resistance recognizes the metal, but accepts an apparent shift in loyalties. It never WAS explained how Terminators were re-programmed - that screen view in their head activates pretty radically when a termination subject is in it's sights, but we never see a flashing "PROTECT" screen superimposed on the screen view when Cameron looks at John. I guess Jessie (submarine ensign) might have been right, metal on every Resistance base in the future.
Wonder if they could, well, like BSG2' skinjob Cylons, umm, mate with humans and reproduce as was shown. Could tells ya, with Teeyeks(T-X)'s kristianna, Cameron's Summer, and Miss Weaver's Shirley, them's potent Pretties there.
I'm not much of a tv series guy, but 1, it's the fucking Terminator. A great movie franchise to begin with. 2. Summer Glau. 3. Summer Glau. 4. Summer Glau. 5. Actually pretty compelling storyline. And last but not least, 6. SUMMER GLAU!!!!! Oh wait, did I mention SUMMER GLAU?!?!?!
haha i was the same way, I discovered TSCC 4 months back, bought both seasons shortly after. Watched both seasons in 3 days. man, I was devastated when knowing that the third season was cancelled. I was going crazy to find answers, and seeing if a continuation was possible. I was in love with the character of cameron, and the season 2 cliffhanger got me so anger and desperate. But hey, maybe someday they'll be another season or movie to wrap it up.
Poor Cameron, she wants to be considered human so much, you can tell her disappointment at John and Sarah's detachment from her. Not the easy task she thought it would be. I love how baffled she seems by them. "Y u not respond to mai advancez?"

IDK, my favorite scene of Cameron's so far (I've got five episodes left) is when she tells John that she's standing in the middle of the house and that one of the parts of the house is descending and John asks how that's a threat to him and she replies, "It's not. But next summer, we're going to have to repaint."

I hate know TSCC will not come back. Now they'll reboot the movies and make a new TV show to follow the reboot story. God, why? The movies are awesome, a reboot is not needed. But Fox relies on high Nielsen ratings to profit from a show and TSCC didn't have high enough Nielsen ratings. Fox was going to cancel it after episode 2x13, but Warner Bros. gave them a discount on the "back 9" episodes to complete Season 2's 22 episodes. Warner Bros. just wanted the show to air up to the release of Terminator Salvation. To keep people interested in Terminator. It's all Warner Bros. fault (who owned the rights to TSCC), they should have given Fox the discount for Season 3 (which Fox wanted) but they didn't. Warner Bros. would have made pure profit from those seasons. But the current owner of TSCC can still make TSCC movies. Some of the writers, producers, and all the actors have expressed interest in returning. There are ongoing plans to make some direct-to-dvd TSCC movies. It's no where near the point of happening, though. All the actors and writers are dispersed elsewhere, busy with other projects. So there is still some hope for it. But it's a small hope.
there's 1 major problem with the plot line of terminator TSCC if they go back in time and stop the terminators being creating then they would never have had to go back in time in the 1st place creating the grandfather paradox.
I hate how this cast could not be used in future Terminator Movies!!! Other than the original cast of T2, this is the best Trio EVER to be in Terminator (Summer, Thomas, Lena)

For fucks sake... I've been watching old clips and re-runs of TSCC for the past couple of months just indulging in Summer Glau. Fox really needs to put TSCC for a 3rd season at least. There's still too much left undone. NO ONE really knows how John Connor actually becomes THE "John Connor" ...if you know what I mean.
The Creator of the Sarah Connor Chronicles Josh Friedman wrote Terminator Dark Fate and reused a lot of the ideas from the series on the movie even ideas for the unmade 3rd season unfortunately his script had John Connor alive but the producers changed it, Also the creator Josh Friedman also did the short lived series Emerald City and Snowpiecer The Series and his biggest upcoming credit is Avatar 2 he finally gets to work with James Cameron himself.
They could make a movie. Tying up the loose end (*understatement alert* ; ) ) of the season 2 finale. Joss Whedon did Serenity after Firefly was canceled.
Would be great to see more brother/sister moments. Or Cameron being more deviant when Sarah (or/and Connor) is not around. (Like that dance in the end of one episode)

I just don't get at how at the start of the series she seemed so human with her (apparent) emotions and stuff, I know it was only the pilot, but now she's just so robotic and cold. Even at the end of T2, the T-800 understood human emotion after just a couple of days. Unless with more advanced models, skynet made them with less humanity on purpose so that they're less exploitable?
i believe ive read somewhere the audience was thinking she wasnt acting enough like a terminator and were expecting to see how she learns to behave more human, like the t-800 in t2 did. sadly she actually was built as an infiltrator, which is why she should've known a lot about human behavior, but yeah, the audience was too stupid for that, so it was changed.
It might be some kind of infiltration program with huge CPU capacity she was using until she was sure it's the right guy. T-888s were shown to have marriages and then acting like old T-800 just as they were on killing spree. Also the hardware and software of T-800 and T-888 (or whatever model Cameron is) differs. It might be, she is able to mimic human behaviour a lot better but not understand it as T-800 did. For example, some people can paint yet they have not clue what's math about. Or it might be just some "ghost in the machine" that only series 101 (Arnold) had. There can be a lot of funny theoretical science hidden in things with rational explanation Schnidler provided :D
Basically, it all boiled down to what would make more entertaining viewing. It's simply more fun to watch a female version of the Schwarzenegger terminator, like an Arnold in a dress, with a ridiculously weak grasp of everyday human interaction. If she behaved like a normal human throughout the series, she would be no more interesting to watch than a butt-kicking strong female Buffy the vampire slayer. I think people tend to like and find fascinating characters who look like normal people, but have alien or robotic minds. Like Sheldon from Big Bang Theory.
There was a reason given to this behavior actually. Once her mission was completed in getting closer to john her "humanity" was no longer necessary and reverted back to the other objectives/ programming. It's pretty cool honestly how cold and sterile the cyborgs are but towards the end of the series they started showing how the machines began to "grow" feelings on their own.
In Finland it comes out in 30th of August 2009. So i would think that it could come out in Norway in this month or or in the next two months. Purely a guess. Remember that.

Believe it or not, I just finished watching the whole series two days ago and........I'm so sad. I keep looking online for answers on wether or not it's coming back. I guess not. I feel something missing inside me. Weird really. I'll do anything for tscc to come back! :(

I dint think you watched the series. Sarah hated Cameron with every fiber of her being. She was always trying to get John to end her.
For fucks sake... I've been watching old clips and re-runs of TSCC for the past couple of months just indulging in Summer Glau. Fox really needs to put TSCC for a 3rd season at least. There's still too much left undone. NO ONE really knows how John Connor actually becomes THE "John Connor" ...if you know what I mean.
The Creator of the Sarah Connor Chronicles Josh Friedman wrote Terminator Dark Fate and reused a lot of the ideas from the series on the movie even ideas for the unmade 3rd season unfortunately his script had John Connor alive but the producers changed it,
Also the creator Josh Friedman also did the short lived series Emerald City and Snowpiecer The Series and his biggest upcoming credit is Avatar 2 he finally gets to work with James Cameron himself.

Sarah is Tough but, I think she felt a little bad that's why she said or anyone else after she said don't you kiss me. Cameron seemed a little upset. I loved this show. Why do they just scrap anything really good like that? Damn Fox!

I just don't get at how at the start of the series she seemed so human with her (apparent) emotions and stuff, I know it was only the pilot, but now she's just so robotic and cold.
Even at the end of T2, the T-800 understood human emotion after just a couple of days.
Unless with more advanced models, skynet made them with less humanity on purpose so that they're less exploitable?
i believe ive read somewhere the audience was thinking she wasnt acting enough like a terminator and were expecting to see how she learns to behave more human, like the t-800 in t2 did. sadly she actually was built as an infiltrator, which is why she should've known a lot about human behavior, but yeah, the audience was too stupid for that, so it was changed.
It might be some kind of infiltration program with huge CPU capacity she was using until she was sure it's the right guy. T-888s were shown to have marriages and then acting like old T-800 just as they were on killing spree. Also the hardware and software of T-800 and T-888 (or whatever model Cameron is) differs. It might be, she is able to mimic human behaviour a lot better but not understand it as T-800 did. For example, some people can paint yet they have not clue what's math about. Or it might be just some "ghost in the machine" that only series 101 (Arnold) had.
There can be a lot of funny theoretical science hidden in things with rational explanation Schnidler provided :D
Basically, it all boiled down to what would make more entertaining viewing. It's simply more fun to watch a female version of the Schwarzenegger terminator, like an Arnold in a dress, with a ridiculously weak grasp of everyday human interaction. If she behaved like a normal human throughout the series, she would be no more interesting to watch than a butt-kicking strong female Buffy the vampire slayer.
I think people tend to like and find fascinating characters who look like normal people, but have alien or robotic minds. Like Sheldon from Big Bang Theory.

There was a reason given to this behavior actually. Once her mission was completed in getting closer to john her "humanity" was no longer necessary and reverted back to the other objectives/ programming. It's pretty cool honestly how cold and sterile the cyborgs are but towards the end of the series they started showing how the machines began to "grow" feelings on their own.
In Finland it comes out in 30th of August 2009. So i would think that it could come out in Norway in this month or or in the next two months. Purely a guess. Remember that.
I think the funniest Cameron scene was when she first found the bird in the chimney. She really, really, really, REALLY wanted to kill it. XD
