Just want to mention that VoicePlay has done a cover/mashup of Twentyone Pilots. They did it in collaboration with Kurt Hugo Schneider, so it's not to be found their own channel, but on that of Kurt Hugo. Thought it might be of interest to you. Those reactors who have searched it out are generelly quite positive.
I like the lyrics of this one quite a lot. I think you got the general idea. For me, the main point/subject of this one is about the moment when you've fought something (addiction/whatever) for a long time, then slip up, and your brain can start to spiral. You can feel like you just threw away the last years where you were successfully fighting off, so why bother and just fall back into bad cycles. The fact your brain kept track can make you put that pressure on yourself. The song though is about how even when that happens, you need to snap back, and he himself praying/wishing for the capability to snap back and start another streak so to speak. It kind of leads well into the next song (which I know you have done but I haven't watched yet) as he talks about as you get older you realize you will start streaks and they will finish, but that's just part of life. Just because you mess up once doesn't make the time you didn't mess up pointless.
I think this song from the album makes me think the most. I can’t help but analyze some of the lyrics like “ what happened in ‘17 “ I have an idea but I could be way off. Probably leading me to think on it more.. enjoyed as always

Thank you, Carina. I'll have a look. That should be interesting. 🙂

Thank you for watching and commenting. Yes, I think there can be many interpretations of the lyrics. Sounds good. 🙂

Hi Sherry! Twenty One Pilots never fail to impress with their lyrics, music, and videos. This is another incredible one, for sure. 🙂
