Luca is just the best out there on youtube when it comes to sharing knowledge and explaining things in a beautiful way! Thank you so much and all the best!
Love this q and a! So much useful info here!! Thanks so much! U should try to get Scott banks in here who also works at studio dmi. Love to see how he mixes more bass heavy stuff!
Luca loves to use mid side compression on the mid frequencies. Any idea on how to do this with stock plugins? Im mixing with ableton and im relatively new. The concepts are grasped in my head but not in practice yet.
Dear... I do not who I can ask or can help me. Finally I find that this channel may be helpful. I did a drum tracks using Addictive drums. I did some keyboard tracks using pianoteq I did the bass gtr tracks using the Modobass. And I did two tracks of Electroc gtr using the musiclab and some recorded loops I was able to fix most of phase issues in drums tracks. The bass I fixed cometely using only nudging technique. And for the piano also I fixed most of the phase issues using evntide precission time. Mainly the problems are the guitars. Two tracks hardly panned. I used ik amplitude with different color. I tried eventide and mannual nudge. But always I get some serious phases issues And comb filtering. And its awful for the ears. Really I shut down the pc when I first listened these issues. Please. Should I check for phase issues on all tracks ? Should the two guitars that are hardly panned play the same material (chords, notes, and rhythm)....? Or using vst instrument will have more phase issues.? Am completely in the box working (I used couple vst instrument for sound and I used studio one for producing and mixing) Please let me see a replay from you. Email- loaihaleem@yahoo.com
SonicScoop Perhaps he would only agree to the interview in Romanian. He’s lived in Canada and US but he’s a a Romanian guy by origins. Maybe I should help with the translation, I’d love to be the first 😉👍 He reminds me of Sebastian Stan in the movie industry, another Romanian who got world wide recognition in the biggest Marvel / Avengers / Captain America movies as Bucky, Captain America’s best friend. We already know what’s Serban Ghenea’s superpower 😉

Are you compressing this presentation? I hear volume change several times. 26:26 Awesome info by the way.
I think that UA-cam adds compression to their livestreams by default. There's none on our mics at the source.
@@SonicScoop right on. Just wondering. Thanks
what is the reference mix for Luca? Luca mix!?)

Half of the music that we listen to everyday is mixed by Serban Ghenea, however we don’t get ANY interview from him. Why?
He doesn't like to give them apparently. Would love to talk to him though!
