Was anyone able to install the Cardo Packtalk Slim communicator on the HJC F70 helmet ? What about this special Sena compartment at the rear of the helmet, can Cardo somehow fit over/in it? Does the internal sun-visor mechanism gets in way of the Cardo controller clips? The helmet is not listed on the Cardo site under helmets comparability, but I wonder if anyone in the real world did it...
Before I buy this helmet, my understanding is that you can purchase a 32 pinlock ready face shield, I want the color “dark smoke”. But... Do I need another part to attach that visor ? Or can I use the dark smoke face shield and use the 3 screws to fasten it like the clear stock visor ?
The dark smoke would attach the same way the clear does. In the video we have the light smoke and dark smoke visors installed on the two center helmets, all you need to do is unscrew the single screw as shown at about the 2:25 mark of the video and remove the clear visor, then place the dark smoke on the helmet and replace the screw and you are good to go!
The SENA 30K is a univeral system so it should mount just like you have it on your current helmet. The new SENA units that are made specific for this helmet have battery packs that fit into the pocket at the rear, but that is no big deal. You just will not need to use that pocket. The speaker pockets will accomodate the speakers on the 30K fine. I'm not 100% sure if the microphone wire will fit in the channel on the F70 but they should be a unifrom size cable so I would expect it to fit with no problem.
This is the only review I've seen for this helmet mentioning any glasses groves. Big props, that info is imperative for us 4 eyes

Overall a solid review. Not much on solid color lids,but that grey looks really sweet.
