Watching the effortless jogwheeling between clips and reverse playback to just add cuts and ripple delete within seconds got me hyped to try this out.. Was thinking it might be a bit clunky but I struggle way more with my mouse and keyboard. Just bought the smaller triple knob for work, but this is seriously enticing me to get this 38% strictly for editing. Seems like editing would feel like less like a chore with this set up. 🔥
Got one of these and finally putting it use, little cramped at times as I planned on having mouse in the right and this in my left. Watching you use just this alone, makes me think of using just this and mouse when I needed like scrolling through effects or something. Thanks man!
Yes! I just picked one of these up this week, and wondered why there isn’t more hype. Great piece of kit. I use a layer for Photoshop, one for FCPX, and one for Excel, and it makes all these workflows easier. Thanks for sharing.

How did you program the knobs? I'm having trouble with VIA. It's asking for a keycode. I have no idea. I wanted it to work the same ways as yours. Thanks in advance for the help!
For me it was importing the keymap, specific for the keyboard. its the JSON file which you can DL from DOIO website, then once you open it with VIA you can make the changes. doiokb.com/index.php?m=home&c=View&a=index&aid=255&lang=en
Hi is this Doio Macro pad the wireless version? The wireless specific version of the Doio Triple Knob Macropad has received all kinds of negative reviews because users claim the wireless functionality does not work and the manufacturer (Doio) does not have proper instructions. I am really looking to use this pad wirelessly and wanted to know if these such problems might exist? Below are some of the main issues I've reead about from the negative reviews users have provided for the wireless Doio Macro Pad: --1) Auto-detect doesnt work in VIA software --2) User must use firmware version 1.3.1 of VIA with no guarantee it will actually work and no way to upgrade it --3) no VIAL firmware is available --4) Macros only support 4 keystrokes or less in wireless whereas the wired pad doesnt have this limitation --5) The time out of the macropad is too quick and the user is unable to adjust/customize the sleep timer which causes the pad to go to sleep/turn off in too short of a time --6) Inability to manually power off the macropad, so every button press can turn the device on. If you throw it into a bag, it will constantly be turning on and draining the battery Can you tell me if these issues are present on the Wireless Doio Pad? Would really appreciate your thoughts. It would be awesome if you could do a setup video. Having trouble getting VIA to even work. May be that I'm on a Mac.
