100% Esign issue solved - Signatory details mismatch. Data [Name], Gender, Date of Birth-epfo India

- This video takes you through steps to submit correction of name in UAN. Due to name mismatch between UAN card and Aadhaar card the error stating "Signatory details missmatch. Data [Name]" appears while one tries to e-sign after saving PF nominee details. Check for same name in Aadhaar and UAN as spelling mistakes, period even more white spaces causes this mismatch.
Issue related to Date Of Birth and Gender can also be solved in same manner by correcting information of data with PF office.
Disclaimer: This video is for educational purpose only to share the solution I got to resolve error "Signatory details missmatch. Data [Name]" during e-signing. This is based on my experience while I corrected UAN name to resolve the issue.

The worst part is that you cannot visually see a double space in between first name and last name. It is only seen in the request. Thanks for making this video.

IF YOU CAME ACROSS THE SAME ERROR, PLEASE CHECK IF Your name in the basic details section is placed correctly. For me it was just the same issue which he shared as the solution. There were 2 spaces given in between my name and surname. I deleted one space. and it worked.

In my case employer and EPFO both approved within 2 days. Turnaround time is quick enough now 🙏🏼

UAN always shows name in uppercase. Matching of names between Aadhaar and UAN is not case sensitive. 🙏🏼

From the Employer side, they approved my name change in 1 week, and It was rejected by the PF office multiple times.
Reason: they were asking for the JD form.
So basically, we submit a name change request -> approved by the employer, -> we have to submit the JD form along with the name change document to the employer's address, which they manage PF -> they will verify and approve it and stamp it with employer name -> and send this doc to Govt PF office --> finally PF office verifies it and approves the name change (they wait for 45-60 days to receive documents from the employer which we submitted).
This whole process takes almost 45 days.
Sir iam having one doubt after updating changes whether I need to call or mail my employer (office) regarding this issue
You don't have to do anything, it goes to your employer automatically and every organisation has dedicated team to look into this. If you see delay and change remains long with employer then connect with HR dept of your organization to get this done. But I hope that will not be required 🙏🏼

No. You should transfer your PF to new company. Old company will only take responsibilities of present employers. 🙏🏼

Hi Vamsi, It's hard to find issue with simply looking at UAN name as trailing spaces may also be the cause. So I suggest, please put correction request for UAN name as shown in video and submit details exactly same as Aadhaar name. Any issue with space, special character will be solved. 🙏🏼

Matching process is not case sensitive. This can't be of any issue. There must be space issue in your UAN name which you can't find by simply looking at it. Submit correction as shown in video. If there is space issue you will be able to understand that only after submitting correction. If there's no gap in name then system will not allow you to submit change request. Try it out 🙏🏼
Already 20 days completed but showing pending at field office. What is the next procedure
They used to complete it quickly. Wait for some more time and then connect with local city PF office stating the problem and update status. 🙏🏼

Hi Praveen, It takes some time to get passbook access enabled after successful enomination. I also faced that. Check after a day, it should work and nothing to worry about that.
I have successfully nominated on 23rd Feb but till getting prompt to nominate after login. Can ignore that, main thing is that successful nomination status which you have 🙏🏼

Submit for correction. If name is identical in Aadhaar (pf account holder name) and UAN then it will prompt you that no correction is required. Can't find space by simply looking at it. Try it.
Name suggsted for change should be exactly as in PF account holder's name in AADHAAR card. 🙏🏼

Hi, You can submit for correction of date of birth in the same manner based on Aadhaar DOB in the same manner as I have shown.
You can submit for correction of name, DOB and gender through the basic details correction process as I have demonstrated 🙏🏼

In my aadhar there is a dot and a space between name and initial. In UAN there is no dot, just a white. Will this matter because I'm getting same error from many days
Yes, this will cause mismatch during matching of names between UAN and Aadhaar. Submit UAN name correction same as your Aadhaar name as per the process shown in video. Your problem will get resolved for sure once UAN name become identical to that of Aadhaar name 🙏🏼

e-nomination should be for dependent , it seems you have done self nomination.??
Firstly check whose Aadhaar or virtual id you are putting during esign. It should be PF account holder's aadhar or virtual id and not the nominee's.
If you are trying with pf account holder's aadhaar or virtual id and till getting error then follow the video and try to submit correction.🙏🏼

UAN card name is displayed in uppercase only and that cannot be reason for mismatch. Are you getting same error stated by me. If yes, then there must be some space or special character in UAN name. Apply for correction with name as per Aadhaar and your problem will be sorted out for sure.🙏🏼

Have you saved the data and filled all details in the nomination section ? Check that please. Once all information is put and saved, then esign option will be active. 🙏🏼

Check closely. Submit change request as per steps shown in video. Put the name as per Aadhaar in change request. Keep date of birth same and gender same and apply. You can't see space if it comes after name. There must me gap and then only this error comes. In my case I was able to view double space in between first name and last name in UAN card. 🙏🏼
Boss employer delay nhi kiya hai lekin epfo ki taraf se delay ho raha hai kya kare 10 din ho gya hai
You will have to wait as there is nothing you can do on this. But EPFO clears the pending action quickly now. Else you can also contact the EPFO office mentioned in the UAN correction remarks. 🙏🏼

How many days it's pending with EPFO ? In my case it got approved within a day. Wait, EPFO will approve it for sure. The process is seamless now. 🙏🏼

Yes.. If Aadhaar card name doesn't have period and UAN card name have that, then also you will face this error. Name in UAN card should be identical to that of Aadhaar. It's an exact match required to pass the validation for e-sign. 🙏🏼

Hope you are usin UAN number for login to epfo portal.
To download the UAN card you first need to log into the EPFO website. You would have to use your UAN number along with your password. Search for the option ‘View’ and then click on the option ‘UAN card’. You will be able to see your UAN card displayed on the screen. Now, you can either download your UAN card or print it. 🙏🏼

Hi, all spaces in my name are as per aadhar and even there are no trialing spaces left. Still I tried to update basic details.. Hi Irfan, In my case double space was of issue. Just try out correcting name, you can find out the gap in name caused by extra spaces in UAN. UAN displays name in uppercase and that's of no issue. Try correcting and let me know the status please 🙏🏼

Hi Prakash, The period (.) in your Aadhaar name is the reason for mismatch here. In Aadhar "M." is there while Uan name states "M" which is not matching.
You can't correct UAN name in this case and as UAN doesn't allows a period (.)
For resolving the issue you will have to correct Aadhaar name as "M Prakash Rajan"

I got update from people that they are able to correct UAN name with period (.) if their Aadhaar name contains a period (.). That means site is allowing to correct UAN and allowing period (.). Please go ahead and submit correction with (.). 🙏🏼

As per as I know, signatory details mismatch is for mismatch of pf account holder's data. Check your name in both Aadhaar and UAN. The problem must be there only 🙏🏼

Hi Kalam... Whenever you put correction it will be automatically converted to uppercase letter for UAN. This is not case sensitive. Go ahead and put name exactly as in Aadhaar and submit for correction 🙏🏼
