HUMILITY and DETERMINATION goes a long way
I think we judge Carsley after 6 games. Hopefully he wins the next 3 and we can call the Greece game as an off day
last night at Wembley felt like a fever dream watching Palmer play defensive midfield - hopefully that proves to our fans tho that trying to shoehorn in saka, foden, jude and palmer into the same team doesn't work
100% this
Well it should work no 4 in the world rankings and players worth millions making enough money after a month to buy a house
That Greek performance sums up why Southgate played pragmatic, safe football for his whole tenure: England is okay at best. There's only so many times you benefit from amazing cup draws when the player's football IQ is very average. The problem remains the same since 1966: too much reliance on players producing individual moments of brilliance to carry the team. And where's the next Paul Scholes and Michael Carrick to fix the midfield? I'm amazed Angel Gomes didn't play a single minute. He has to play.
The new coach should've resigned after that performance.. SMH!
he is not the official coach though
That was a tactical disasterclass
We were an absolute embarrassment if that was Southgate everyone would be ripping him to shreds the same energy on Carsley please
Well said players need a shake up even though Carsley shouldn't have played like that players need to take responsibility as well
👏👏
My line up would be
GK: Jordan Pickford
RB: Kyle Walker
CB: John Stones
CB: Levi Colwill
LB: Tino Livramemto
DM: Declan Rice
CM: Jude Bellingham
CM: Angel Gomes
RW: Cole Palmer
ST: Harry Kane (If fit, otherwise Watkins)
LW: Noni Madueke
Defo need a midfielder alongside rice
@@ChannelEnglandFootballCEF I think Gomes would be with Rice whenever England are out if possession
Finland to be fair lost at home yesterday
So did we 😂. I did see that result but we were that bad last night if we play like that against Finland we get beat
@@ChannelEnglandFootballCEF It won't be a good look if England preform like that on Sunday but at least Greece is for sure the strongest opponent in our group
I felt a bit sorry for Watkins.
So long in Kane's shadow (and I love Kane), did well at the Euros when called upon, should have had an opportunity to start against Greece, and instead Carsley tries this ridiculous experiment for a Nations League game in October.
Work on that in the month leading up to a tournament.
He took a gamble that he really didn't need to; roll the dice after you've got the job.
We have got to stop cramming in all the top attacking players.
France, Brazil, Spain... they have no problem having big players on the bench.
England really need to grow up.
To be fair to Carsley, Southgate suffered bigger losses in the Nations League.
But this next game is massive now.
All the players were bad, I think even San Marino could have beaten us last night
No joke they would have
Did you hear carsley say hopefully he will get sacked so he can go back to the under 21s
My prediction is that things will be addressed and against a weaker opponent I have:
Finland 0-3 England
No way
Finland 4-2-3-1
Pope
Trent
Stones
Guehi
Colwill
Gomes
Rice
Madueke
Palmer
Gordon
Solanke
A big NO
I did tell you gray but you really don't listen do you
drop foden
Foden has never been good in England uniform
