@@MAKEARTNOWCHANNEL I have tried three different power banks and not getting the same result as you. All three are 5V 2A and only adding extra hour to the battery life when plugged in.
yes it is! I made my own bracket to adapt the Rode video mic to the side of my camera so I can undersling the camera using the Ronin S! Video on my channel of that.
@@MrDeliciousCreator Unfortunately there are a lot of frauds in the power bank biz. Generally, you get what you pay for. The higher the price, the higher the quality, to a point, then it's just gouging. I have a USB load tester and I've found cheap ones that are rated at 2600mah to be really 600mah. Look for reputable brands in the $40-60 range, you can also get "jump packs" that have USB out, these are generally rated at around 55 watt hours, or ~15000mah and contain LiPo batteries, so they're relatively light.

I have a media pass from working with a news organization. Got me into political and press events in DC, etc. But some areas you needed additional security clearance. Most things I could get into. Still have my pass, no expiration date on it. Use it occasionally.

I subscribed you yesterday or the day before that, idk, whatever. At that time you had ~7900 subs, now it's 10k. That, is something. And you have a whole different style of making video. Not copying from anyone, as far as I know. And what I like most about you is that you are kind of down to earth(? I think) and making a lot of thing by yourself(I've never seen any other filmmakers using soldering iron before). I was shooting a wedding early this month and i have the a7iii, the good part is the battery lasts almost whole day, bad part was i have just 1 battery since i never did a wedding shoot before. I carried a 20k mAh powerbank with me everywhere and had a long usb cable. I also had the a7iii mounted on a mono pod. End of day i had like 3 more hours of shoot and 30% battery. For the last 30 mins i just plugged the camera into my powerbank and stuck the powerbank in my pocket.
It works!
TSA Pre-check is available for some non-US citizens. You must apply for "Global Entry" where TSA-pre is included.

in amsterdam we have something called privium, members have there own lounge, parking area with connecting tube that makes the walk from the parking garage to airport itself a breeze, own checking and all you have to do at TSA is scan your card and eye, xray bag and your good to go.

I bought my first camera end of 2013. So almost 5 years now.
Love the power bank hack! Will definitely do it myself, there's a company that recently made a power bank built in an L bracket, but we all know how expensive that world be 😏 better do it DIY
I like the cheese plate battery pack hack. I tried gaff-taping my power bank to my tripod when I went to the L.A. Arboretum for some night photography/light painting, but when I plugged it in to my a6000, it kept trying to go into USB data mode. Know the a7 series works like this makes me lust after it even more.
switch from data mode to USB power ....I think its in the folder settings to the far right on the menu, USB connection. Its either that or the a6000 requires a dummy battery and a 12v power supply...you can find one and a battery bank that supplies 12v.
Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I did find the option for USB power mode, but it still gets confused when I turn on the camera. Charges just fine when turned off, though. My workaround is just carrying like 8 batteries in my pockets, then 500 more in my bag.
But... that a7III, though....

I used 3M Command Strips to mount the battery packs to my TASCAM and cameras on our last shoot. The mounting plate is a much better idea and I might be doing that soon.

Hello. I have a sony A7III. Been following your channel and I admire your work. Can I ask your help to choose a lens? I work in real estate, if you have money lets say 1200 dolars, would you buy only one lens but a good one, or would you buy several (one for video and photo or two different lens for each thing instead? And what would it be the lens?

Is that the Batis 25mm? I'm trying to decide on which two lenses to buy first for my a7III. It's supposed to arrive in a couple weeks and I keep going back and forth between the Batis 25mm, the Sony/Zeiss 55mm, the Sony 85mm and the Sigma Art 24mm. I know that all of them are good lenses but once I decide on two of them, it'll be a little while before I'm able to save up enough money to buy more so I'm a bit hesitant.

bcuz on a5100, the camera wont turned on if its on charging condition..
It's a better deal if you do global entry for $100. You'll get pre-check for free and it helps with international travel (entry back into the US).
Put copies of your media pass on all your bags as well as tape or a bandana. That's what I do, then you don't have to worry about forgetting your media pass. Plus I also add "TUFFTAGS" which holds a business card for extra credentials, also has your contact, and if you need a business card for someone you've got one on each of your bags. That's my luggage marking strategy when traveling because I am also in the air constantly.
my issue with the 10000 battery, its that i can't charge and use at the same time my a6000... 😢
