Victoria MacKenzie-Childs is the original designer, with her husband, Richard. They are no longer associated with the company. They live on an old Ellis Island ferry, off Staten Island. Victoria has a UA-cam channel called Victoria MacKenzie-Childs and her latest videos have her showing us around their former home… it is spectacular with black and white check linoleum on the floor AND ceiling. Victoria is an awesome, fun and exciting lady and in spite of everything they have had to endure she is full of hope and happiness ❣️

It is hard for me to feel good about shopping at the store since the corporate takeover from the original artist and owners. They were the ones with the ideas and the creativity. There was a takeover by a company that called in their loans, and to my way of thinking, extorted the company from them. I just don’t like the history and I don’t want to support the new ownership.

Unfortunately, artists aren’t good business people. Circumstances twirled around them, oblivious to a devious lawyer and advisor and everything was stolen even their name. The MacKenzie Child’s should have a few billions in the bank.

That company was stolen by big corp from Victoria, the original artist that created it. She gets nothing from the sale of any of it!

Yes I hate seeing people take advantage of others in such a big way. Watching this video made my stomach sick. I'd say most people don't know the story, the great loss. I'd much rather watch Victoria Mackenzie-Childs' videos over these. She has value and is a humble, lovely person in spite of what happened to her.
