Thats a nice set up. If I were in the market for a new Ranger I'd spec out the Lariet...without the Chrome Package
I have a 2022 ranger lariat fx4 now, looking forward to the 2024..with the 2.7 motor
That lariat is really cool but I want to see a review of the XLT
We will, as soon as they hit the lots. This was a training unit.
I'm glad they stuck with the larger shifter on the XLT from the 2023 Ranger. I also like the physical key from the 2023. Too much fancy stuff on trucks today.
There is a lot of fancy stuff on vehicles in general these days. Very rarely in history has there been a vehicle that appeals to everyone. It's good that there are still choices like the Ranger with some old-school elements.

I wouldn't be quite as nostalgic except for the reality that this technology costs so much to repair a few years down the road when it breaks. Even a light fender bender firing off two or three airbags could total your car due to the costs involved for repair. It's making it a little difficult to keep a car beyond warranty.
The front grill looks like an old Nissan Frontier
Not overly impressed. I have a 2019 XLT with 302a package. Added performance tune and Roush exhaust. I like that it’s longer and wider, like the touch screen, but, not enough to make a switch. Would probably go with F150 Tremor, or ZR2
Rear seat fold flat seat hinge hack needed for 2023 model XLT. Looks like same seat, got to be the hinge.
Maybe if it's possible this could eventually be an aftermarket piece.
Almost every YT video I have seen of the 2024 Ranger Lariat has the front seat leather all bunched up and wavy. I hope somebody at Ford checks this out and makes a fix before I order mine.
All of the videos you have seen thus far on the American Ranger Lariat have been pre-production models. They are not the final product that will make it to production so there will likely be better quality control on that.
Rear suspension?
Still a leaf spring with gas pressurized shocks on the 4x2 and 4x4. The Raptor will have a rear coil with FOX shocks, internal bypass and live valve tech.
Have any idea when the 2.7 will be available? aint no one want that i4.
It's supposed to be added later in the model run. The 2024 model year will be produced through late 2024. I would suspect by Spring.
Just pitiful for a 2024..geez
Don’t like the color
Gmc canyon blows this away. Same awful sounds
canyon literally is stripped of standard features.
Then go buy a canyon. No one gives a shit.
canyon is so tacky and ugly though
Please get rid of the chrome! Ford never stops with the chrome.
I think its crazy that push to start is only available on the lariat Ranger. Spending $50,000 for an XLT and still having not even an option for push to start is UNACCEPTABLE.... idk what Ford is thinking these days. I was thinking about getting an XLT, built one online, been thinking about it for weeks now. I came to the conclusion no push to start is an absolute deal breaker. My 10 year old fusion has this but I can't a get an XLT ranger in 2024 with this? Its just way to convenient to just grab the door and open the vehicle and start up and go without digging through my pockets or bag for a key. This is honestly so ridiculous you have to laugh. Its 2024 but ford still wants you to use a physical key to turn and start their vehicle with.
Lmao this post is hilarious and true at the same time. That said I ordered a Lariat and doubt that you'd be disappointed with a Lariat at any rate..
The only reason I could think Ford still uses a key for the Ranger XL and XLT is because it is a world model. Developing push button start and the tech that goes with it is a premium feature that's included in the price of the Lariat trim for the American market.
@@RichmondFordLincoln How are y’all going to stop the autoworkers from striking and delaying our orders? I saw make the dealership employees work the production line all the same!
they have to put it on the lariat only, because otherwise people would save money and buy the XLT. The margins are higher on the top trims.
