I love your unabashed candor of consuming those six scones! Thanks for sharing Kevin...😘🤗
Yes, just for the sake of science. Loved that comment.
I thought for sure Mr Fox had eaten 3! How honest to own up to 6! ❤😊
I feel like I am visiting an old college friend every time I see one of your videos. Always a relaxing, calming presence in an otherwise hectic world. Thank you, KLJ!
I have a ton of Rhubarb in my garden. Oh Kevin your boxwood in your garden is beautiful
These scones look delicious! I could almost smell the rhubarb! And the trimmed boxwoods were stunning - like a mini Versailles! 😊
Rhubarb takes me back to my childhood. My grandfather grew rhubarb and my mum would make rhubarb crumble. Delicious! It's over 50 years ago but I still remember helping to pick the rhubarb and eating the crumble, lol
This is a great recipe! When we moved into our house 5 years ago, we discovered rhubarb had been planted in a corner of the blueberry beds. It's come back each year and I've made muffins with it. We love scones, so I'll use our rhubarb in this recipe. Thanks!
Your garden with the boxwood hedges is beautiful. The rhubarb scones look delicious, fit for a King! I am delighted to hear your will be doing a luncheon in honour of King Charle’s coronation. Thanks Kevin🙏❤️
I remember being invited to a wedding breakfast for Prince William and Princess Catherine. We watched the ceremony and then enjoyed a breakfast feast. I hope my friend does a Coronation breakfast for King Charles. I could eat Rhubarb pastry (any type of rhubarb) day or night. I really wish I was having a cup of tea and a scone with Kevin right now. This was fabulous and I can't wait to watch the coronation festivities.
Oh my Barry Humphries aka Dame Edna has been hospitalized.
All KLJ fans pray for a wonderful, Brrrrrrtish soul & entertainer.
Watching you gives m e faith there is stilla touch of civilization left. God Bless.
Good day Mr. Kevin, a simple thank you does not express how much I enjoy and love your videos.
Hi Kevin my new friend (I'm picturing us friends on UA-cam)once again I'm doing chemo and watching you. Cheers me up every time. I wish you and Mr fox a great weekend 🤗🤗
Those scones do look like they're perfectly delicious on their own, but if you added strawberry jam, you would have strawberry rhubarb scones. Lovely tea table setting. I look forward to seeing the coronation video. Fun stuff. I guess that Fergie is staying home and having her own coronation tea, while she watches the ceremony on tv with her dogs and the Queen's two corgis that she has adopted. You are inspiring me to plan a little coronation tea myself. So much fun! Thank you.🇬🇧👑🤴🏼🫖💂🏻
Kevin you must be showered with love from your viewers! You bring peace, serenity, and elegance to all who watch.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
LOL! "I ate six of them..." So yummy looking. Rhubarb is delightful!
I don't think you are able to make anything that is not delicious. Everything you make is wonderful. Thanks for sharing your life with us. Take care and bye for now.
Oh dear Kevin, it has been too long! When I saw that you had a new video and a recipe for scones I looked forward for the rest of the day to tune in knowing it would bring comfort and a sense of well being. Thank you
I'm glad you admit you overindulge occasionally, I mean if you love to cook, you generally love to eat!💜💜😆
Thank you! I am ready to make my scones. Have tea with my friends under my oak tree.
So calming to watch your videos.
Wow love your videos. From South Africa
Dearest Kevin, thank you for sharing your prized recipes. My dad was a baker by trade and he used to make strawberry rhubarb pie. So delicious! Your careful attention to details reminds me of him. Again, thank you for sharing your beautiful life and ideas with us. Sending prayers and love. 🙏❤

Your formal garden is quite lovely.
Your boxwood hedges was just beautiful . You have an English garden

What could be better than jeweled scones and tea with handsome in the bolo tie! As always, enjoyed the video. The boxwood garden looks magnificent!
Kevin, you mentioned that you planted your beautiful bushes with hundreds of plants. Do you have a video of that? I live in a very modest apartment with limitations, so I live vicariously through your videos. In the midst of all this craziness, I find you so calming. Thank you for recording so many wonderful things.
I discovered your channel some months ago. I love your style and recipes. I usualy make socones for my family, so l'll rey your wonderful recipy ASAP..
Thank you for sharing your rhubarb scone recipe with us - I can’t wait to try making them! The boxwood looks fantastic. Greetings from Australia
Hello Kevin those scones look amazing. I make scones here in UK quite a lot and I will definitely be trying your recipe with the rhubarb thank you so much x
So looking forward to your Coronation lunch Kevin. ❤ that sounds wonderful.
The garden is coming back to life beautifully.
I'm so happy that you will be holding a coronation lunch! Could you please post the quiche recipe? I saw it, but can't remember where.
Your box wood hedges look amazing. I will have to try those rhubarb scones. My rhubarb isn't up yet, but maybe I can source some at the grocery store.
I love rhubarb! Those scones look delish! ❤
Good morning Kevin 🌞 those Rhubarb Scones looked fabulous and I'll bet they tasted so good. I saved the recipe to my phone, so far I've made a few of your recipes, the bacon swizzle stick's , the colourful cobbler, and the strawberry tart and everyone in my family loved them all. Thank you for your recipes and your wonderful videos 😊❤
I’m going to make them for the coronation 🇬🇧
Oh wow I can only imagine how wonderful the scones smell. Looking forward to coronation video. Thank you for sharing such exquisite content.
Cannot WAIT for your coronation video!
Your garden is beautiful ❤️ like a smaller version of Versailles !
My mouth is watering! Thanks for recipe. Will look forward to joining you for coronation tea🫖
Oh my!!! You did it again!! Rhubarb scones give me that!!
So good with a cup of Tea !! And so easy my kind of recipe!!
Thank you Kevin 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Rhubarb is so underrated these days . My Grandmother used to have it growing, so for me it was often on the menu in one way or another ! I definitely will be making these since they will bring back some of my best memories. Haven't you noticed memories are often food based ? 😋........ Once again Thankyou Kevin , the scones look scrumptious . 😊
I love Rhubarb!
My grandma had Rhubarb on her little 3 acre farm and would make Rhubarb pie from what was left from my cousin and I eating them dipped in sugar as a snack.
(I think she actually had a few Rhubarb Plants)
She also had a Pastry Cloth.
Another Beautiful and stunning service.
No better way to continue to welcome Spring.
💐🌱
I admire The English Royalty and am looking forward to The Coronation and your fabulous meal.
Thank you Kevin.
🕊️♥️🌹🌱
My Nanny would have loved your sugar bowl with the blue glass. I like your tea set! Wow! so delicate and pretty.
Your scones look wonderful. Too early for rhubarb here. Everything is behind due to the cold weather. I will file this recipe away for a few weeks.😊
Delicious! As a child, I remember the rhubarb plants growing wild in my great grandmothers' (both) back yards in Connecticut. How I miss it. I bought one of those trays because I saw you feature it from an older video of yours. I love it.
Thank for sharing ,I will definitely makes these. Wonderful video as always.
The boxwood is lovely. I make scones a few time a year. I think I’d have to add some strawberries to this recipe, but they look delicious! I can’t wait to see your coronation quiche and what a fun party you’ll have!
I am going to make these today but because our rhubarb is just emerging, Nova Scotia is not as advanced weather wise as your area,I am going to substitute frozen and bake it as a whole in a square pan. I will score the scones prior to baking. Thanks for the recipe.
The scones look so tempting. I shall certainly try them. As a Briton, I couldn't fail to notice that you didn't appear to warm the teapot before making the tea. This possibly does not make much difference but it does make sure that the tea is really hot, which is the way we like it. When the rhubarb first comes in, there is nothing better than a rhubarb crumble, flavoured either with the zest and juice of a large orange or with preserved ginger with the fruit and some ground ginger in the topping. Another dessert with rhubarb is a 'fool' which is rich and delicious.
I will definitely be trying these with tea. Generally I’m a coffee girl but I love tea with rhubarb anything. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe.
The scones look beautiful 😍. I've never had much luck in making them, I think I probably over manipulate the dough.
Love the science experiment, eating 6 scones ! LoL 😂. I'm looking forward to your video on making quiche. Blessings Kevin
That boxwood, simply astounding...the scones .. look delicious ...
I’m so looking forward to your Coronation episode!
❤Kevin i made the scones but instead of rhubarb i put in bananas and blueberries. I sprinkled them with Demerara sugar. I actually weighed out the flour to 377 G and then I measured out the flour to 2 1/2 cups and I realized that I did have extra flour left over but I didn't use it I put it off to the side. They baked up very nicely! Nice and crisp because of the sugar on top.
Wow Kevin!! - you are amazing - love your beautiful charming mannerisms - your home - your garden & of course your stunning recipes - always so simple & tasty - love the way you make your scones - I had no idea we must fold the dough several times - your Grandmother's method - thank you for sharing the love Kevin - much love.
Your videos have become so professional, but still so engaging.
Wow..breathtaking....looks delicious,
I took quite a fall 4 days ago and I am lying here not only envious of the tea and scones, but how beautifully appointed your house and garden is! Well done!
I hope you make a speedy recovery!
I just looove rhubarb! Thnk you Kevin for this wonderful idea and recipe. Love and greetings from Sweden. ❤🇸🇪
Your boxwood hedging is pretty wonderful.
Well thank you Kevin. I will be making these scones for King Charles' coronation on May 6, instead of a Victoria Sponge. Even though there is a quiche reciepe for this coronation, broad beans and spinach just don't work for me. Have opted for Queen Elizabeth's coronation chicken. A few cups of Earl Grey and a small glass of port should do it nicely. Thanks again.
Hello Kevin. Scones are so lovely, especially rhubarb! I'm watching my carbs, but saving baked items for occasional treats. The nice thing about your recipe, is I have the same stand mixer (vintage 1977) same rolling pin and other equipment, so easy for me to follow along. You reminded me to dig out my pastry cloth. I know If I get myself out to exercise more, I can eat more scones! The landscaping is divine and the scones came out fantastic! ~ Diane
Hi Kevin- Can't wait to give it a try on the beautiful scones. They look so delicious and just love the tea setting too. Looking forward to the Coronation meal.
Beautiful just beautiful 💕
Thank you SO much for your wonderful videos!
I can't wait to try this scones recipe. Hubby and I love scones. By the way, I use two knives to cut in butter. It's something I learned from an old Betty Crocker cookbook.
I like the demo for making scones with the mixer. I've never tried that.
Love that you’re using a digital kitchen scale, so much better for baking that volume measurements as baking is a science. Traditionally fluted cutters are used to denote savoury scones and straight sided cutters are used to denote sweet scones. I’ll definitely try your recipe as I love rhubarb especially forced rhubarb which we can buy during a very short season in late winter here in the U.K.
Such a beautiful of everything!
Hello Kevin. Your scones look amazing and I am going to make them over the weekend. I look so forward to watching all your videos. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home and your talents with us.❤
wow that is a lot of boxwood! I can’t even get one plant as my local nursery closed :( but please do a video or snippet on propagating boxwood! I have wanted to see this for years!
I want yo make the scones now but dragging out kitchenaid is daunting. Tomorrow at 6 am I will! I never put rhubarb in scones! I grow it so aside jam, and pies this is great!
Enjoy watching 👀 your videos always, looking for your next new one. You make everything look so simple. Except do not belive this is a new one, I kinda do remember it quite a while back could be wrong?. Been looking for the one working in your garden hanging flower baskets can't wait to see the results with a new recipe even a simple one. Even the new wall paper for the bedroom, yes agreed when you mention up date the beding sure it's gorgeous 😊
Lovely, Kevin! You’ve inspired me to make scones this morning. Can’t wait for the coronation video. 💐
Hi Kevin, I’m going to make these over the weekend.
Your videos are superb! The boxwood garden looks like something out of Hampton Court, very well manicured.
