AV Festival 12: Chris Watson: Teesside Sound Walk

Chris Watson is one of the world's greatest sound recordists, famed for capturing the natural world for Sir David Attenborough. This sound walk encouraged you to listen, not just to hear, this unique post-industrial environment. Timed on an incoming tide, the slow tidal rhythms revealed seals and migrating birds. You were encouraged to bring along portable, lightweight, sound recording kit and binoculars. There were two walks as part of this event, the second was on Sun 25 March 2012, 1-5.30pm.
