- In todays video, I had the opportunity to remove and refit a roof vents in a caravan i have been working on. The next exciting project after the roof vents refitting is the recirculating shower, keep an eye out for that video.

TIP:- Use B&Q own brand Paint Brush Cleaner on old mastic A) It helps soften for removal B) Clears up stuck down remnants. I place in a spray bottle to use.

A small sharp floor scraper would of removed that old sealant faster.
Do you need any other form of sealant or will the mastic tape do it all?
I only ever use mastic tape and occasionally a bit of sealant on the edge.
