@@chriscastillo6299 In Texas it just means something you only wear to please the ol'lady aka the wifey😆 🤣 Otherwise it's dirty wranglers with my CHL straw 247🤘😎
I ware a black felt “country gentleman’s” Stetson. It’s a combo of a fedora and a brick crease. With a kinda smallish brim. I’m bald w close to 10 inches of beard. I ware wrangler blue jeans and black tee’s 8 days a working week. So I completely understand the whole “are you Amish?” question. Oh… and I do home renovations for a living and I am the go to guy on the job site
@@TXHAWGKILLA I'm in southern NM , we know what hot is. Pity you can't dunk a shantung straw. Getting that thing wet is not an issue, because I bet you studiously avoid getting it wet! Cause after that the brim will look like a dried out corn tortilla. See, with my "hotter than hot" cheap palm straw, I just dunk it! All better. Then it stays in shape. I'll get three years out of one and they look better with age, to a point...
I run a American hat company CHL, and another open crown with Texas nipples. Cool video brother!

I hate cattlemen crease like a hotdog holder
a wider cattlemen is pretty good. not a fan of then being squished together real tight
Get it wet,, t and when it goes all ratshit, go buy a quality Palm straw. Indestructible.
The is no hot more hot than a palm hat in the summer. I haven't had an issue with straw hats getting wet previously
