- American Hat Company has some of the best straws there is. This is one of their more popular ones TC8800 in a 4 1/2 brim. Shaping straws is definitely an art, and I’m here to share what I know of it.

My grandpa was a cowboy and would wear hats at any family get together or anything outside, he passed away last year on the 5th, and I started wearing them in his honor, thank you for sharing your knowledge
Hey Buddy, Cowboy from Georgia. Your opening comments about Our LORD GOD.......... Thank you. You've got a fan here. JESUS Saves
Trying to get into a straw hat for the summer since I work outside but, I look like a complete dork in a cowboy hat. I had given up until I lucked up and tried on some that fit my head and maybe the crown looked good but the brim was too big for my frame and vice versa.
nice job, you have a great talent !
Super great video man! This is a great channel too! God bless.
I don’t even wear hats but I found you on tiktok and now I really want one.
Could you do a video on cleaning and restoring a well used and dirty straw hat?
Nice job! 👏🏽
What a lovely humble and respectful guy 👏🇬🇧I've got 42 hats 👒 just can't stop buying them, but I just hate it when they start going floppy 😭🎸🎸🎼
Great video like that shape also..
Thanks man
Good video.
Great video
Great video Drake. The only thing that I would suggest is to show your actual creasing of the hat. Your video is a little high to show your actual shaping, and it would certainly help to show the technique that you use. Thanks again.
thanks for the vid
Can you do this with an already shaped hat? Trying to make a cattlemen into a biggs crease with a little bit flatter brim
Would it be easy to shape my own Canvas Cotton cowboy without experience? They seem stiff and easy to tear.
Drake, what do you call your crown shape in this video, i'd love to see more shaping, thanks
Okay, from MT, since 70’s- 2010’s it was narrow in front, wide in back. ( my style from then), why did it go to wide up front and narrow in back? Just a question is all. Good work.
Where can I get a steamer like that???
