Didn't mean to brag or anything but one time I got really bored because my mom was chatting with her friend so much that I played all the way to level 160 in Ancient Egypt's Pyramid of Doom with Pokra essentially doing most of the work. Apparently three Pokras are already enough to take down multiple gargantuars at once without any plant food being required, it was still level 2 by the way.

Pokra, headbutter lettuce and to an extent mega gatling pea are in my opinion the strongest plants in game They just deal so much damage so quickly while having only one or two counters
@@coolcatred4922 Another weakness not typically noticed, as this can *usually* be worked around by either placing Pokra closer to the front, planting more Pokras, or both. Hm, both cooldown and direction *are* valid weaknesses. It's a shame that not enough zombies can take advantage of them.
Here's a tip, plant spike weeds on the flowers, why? Spike weeds on flowers can be stepped on and not lose, because the zombies aren't stepping on flowers. I am not just assuming, I know this

This is my first video from your channel and I can't be the only one who thinks you sound like Uhyeah XD I like seeing these solo runs that makes exceptions for sun-producers. Seeing more than just the same plants for challenges for one plant variety or stronger zombies gets boring after a while. A lot of challenges I see could be easily done if they allowed themselves to use sun-producers, especially Dark Ages. I personally think that as long as the plant can't attack, you should use the more common utility plants. like sun-producers, lilypads or grave busters (though for these, it should be sparingly). So I find this quite refreshing
I have yet to even give the chinese side of this franchise a proper video it deserves, besides the first one I did. And even then… I sort of want to redo it at some point, I think I could easily discuss the games for hours before ever doing an iceberg
I think a good compromise on the "Sun Producers are the exception" rule, is that you should reword the rule to "I can only deal DAMAGE with Pokra/(insert plant type of the day)". This way you can still use utility plants like the Lily Pad and Sun Flower without breaking the rules. Just thought I'd mention this as most challenge run youtubers like "The Backlogs" using this specific wording as it helps makes challenges more interesting and varied

Wow that's the first time you go through the entire challenge lol but I have been wondering can you beat the game with plants that can be used as defense and can damage like durian, the plan that can shoot two peas and the flower from the same world as durian?
Try it with level 2 ice-shroom (it has a range of 2 tiles instead of 1 as in lvl 1, so it wouldn't lose immediately to mc zom bs). It should technically be much better. Especially since he counters pretty much everything that counters Pokra (ice, jesters, etc.), except chickens.
Here's how I would balance Pokra Sun cost: Increased from 175 to 400 Recharge: Increased from 7 seconds to 45 seconds Everything else about the plant stays the same So it's still a great plant just no longer broken
I hate 90% of the changes to modern pvz2 so i have the 5.8 version on my phone rn. It's missing some of the expansion levels and it DOES have the levelling system and new world order, but its got so many features that were removed as early as the next update including the yeti, being able to farm coins in the coconut game, zombies dropping GEMS, the dmg and ub music, old zen garden system, dynamic difficulty making it actually challenging, and the mummy memory game. It's so much nicer to play than modern pvz it's crazy

I like the video but I feel like this would have been more interesting if sun producer would have been banned outside of darke ages, that way you could have had at least some challenge. Also you can say "no you can't beat the challenge but let see what happens if we continue". Changing the rules "because it's impossible otherwise" just make you look like you want to eat your cake and have it too. Plus since you decided to use the sun producer exception from the start because of dark age you just made the whole video less interesting as a result.
I used only Red Stinger to beat (almost) everything in Eclise. He's the actual local Pokra. It's not entirely fair to call it "only Red Stinger" because he naturally requires two slots with the Imitato while most other plants require just one. It's not a big deal though, they're both the Red Stinger.
Pokra is the reason I beat the game. I don’t remember how long I tried unlocking it but I refreshed levels until I could use pokra for free then beat the level to get some seed packets and then repeated
