Fun watch. Like Joeswoods below, down booties, I won't go without them. And as you mentioned, get a real pad. If in doubt, wear your puffy too, anything to stay warm and snuggly. Have fun with your upcoming adventure, you got this.
A good first outing! Cool feet are something one always deals with at one point or another. Some warm down booties are always a good option. Super lightweight and cozy, though an additional expense.
I always carry a few heat packs just in case my feet get cold. You can tuck them around your feet or in the groin area to warm the blood on its way to your feet. You did fine! Now you are hooked.
I have a similar stove and putting the fuel canister in your sleeping bag makes a big difference on how the stove works in the cold mornings You’ll notice that it takes a lot of fuel to make water hot if it’s below 40 The jetboil pot would help too
I may get some. Though it’s not going to be cold at night for the most part, just a possibility on the last night. You never know though. 😃 Thanks for recommendation!
Thats the church event I believe. I have the grahl bottle. Haven't used it yet but it's good to have one on real long hikes. Are you ready for this amanda? Do you know people there or going? I will keep you in prayer. I like your videos.

Thanks!! 😃 Yeah, I may get them. I was hesitant though because for the first three nights it’s gonna be warmer at night.. But you never know. 💪🏻

Yess, thanks! I’ll probably end up dealing with it. It’s getting expensive as is lol. 😆

Love this mountain
Me too! 😍
@ my sister has a camp right there by the water near that parking lot for Little Bigalow. I need to get up there and hike those mountains next year.

Thanks for tip :)) ☺️
I went to the horns pond Saturday before last with one of my pups
Aww.. I love that! Hopefully you enjoyed every minute!
@@AmandaDouin we did
I bet some down booties would solve the cold feet issue unless they are completely off your sleep pad.

Thank you!!
how long did it take you to learn how to set up and repack your tent?
The day I drove out was the first time I packed it all in. 😆 I did however watch videos on best practices for how to pack efficiently.
